The Ark Veterinary Surgery is an independent small animal veterinary surgery in Aspley, Northern Brisbane.
Veterinarians Dr. David Marchant and Dr. Craig Render will provide continual care - you're likely to see the same vet each visit. You'll get to know and trust us at The Ark as your family vet.
We treat dogs, cats, birds, mice, rats and Guinea pigs.
Our veterinary nurses are Kay Burns and Bonnie Taylor.
We consult for all veterinary medical, surgical, dental and behavioural problems.
All of our over-the-counter products come with the right advice, internet pricing and take-home convenience.

I just love The Ark Veterinary Surgery with David Marchant and Kay Burns and wouldn't go anywhere else as David is a wonderful Vet and his Assistant Kay is absolutely fabulous. To be perfectly honest I am deeply indebited to both of them as I have a very old geriatric female dog and without their help, advice and expertise I am quite sure that my darling little Belle would have gone over the rainbow by now. They are not only very knowledgeable, but their compassion and understanding is second to none and not only would I be lost without them but they are as cheap as chips too. We went today as returning clients after moving interstate. I had phoned to make an appointment and to update the pet details. Unfortunately they were still presuming we had the dog from many years ago, which had been euthanased, so the details via the phone were totally ignored. My wife took our dog through to the vet and we still do not know the vet's name - he didnt bother to tell us so perhaps they don't need us as customers anymore? Very disappointing customer service.

David and Kay always take such good care of our dog Ebony! David is so warm, friendly and kind and gives great advice. He has always looked at the bigger picture and gave us tips on introducing our baby to the dog and now engages with the children and answers their questions too! The whole experience I had at The Ark was wonderful. I'll start at the beginning & tell you my experience.
I called to make a booking and was greeted by a friendly young lady that was only too happy to help me get an appointment that day & within hours of my calling. :-)
I attended the surgery ten minutes before my appointment and was met by two friendly young ladies. They greeted me and asked for my details and my pets details which was quick and painless...
Anyhow, that only took a few minutes and so I sat in the waiting area for about two minutes (which gave me the time to notice how clean everything was) before the vet called my name.
My pet was seen at the exact time of booking. The vet that treated my pet was David and he was terrific in my opinion. He was friendly to me and more importantly, to my pet. My pet showed me that he trusted him right from the start and let him examine him even though the area(which was quite tender, painful and in general wouldn't let anybody touch) was off limits to all except myself.
David is very professional and is a great vet in my opinion. His clinic is very well maintained and very very hygienic.
However, in my opinion the best thing that this clinic has and what would keep me going back year after year is the friendly and personal service that the whole team provides.
Thanks guys for treating my boy. You went far and beyond the call of duty. Really I thank you from the bottom of my heart. ;-)

I just love The Ark Veterinary Surgery with David Marchant and Kay Burns and wouldn't go anywhere else as David is a wonderful Vet and his Assistant Kay is absolutely fabulous. We went today as returning clients after moving interstate. I had phoned to make an appointment and to update the pet details.
