It wasn't a good experience, they wouldn't see our injured dog unless we paid straight away. Whilst I understand that being a vet surgery is a business management might consider they live in a lower income area and make arrangements to suit, poor people have pets. The vets were like robots although the reception staff were nice in the end they just wanted the money even though my wife tried to make future arrangements to pay. Read Less

Wonderfully helpful and considerate staff. My puppy needed an urgent appointment on a Sunday afternoon. After being told I would have to wait until next week by several other vets, I called Booval Vet Hospital. My phone call was answered promptly and I was offered an appointment for 30 minutes time. When I arrived there had been an emergency brought in ahead of us, so there was a little wait, but we were kept updated and when we were seen the vet was very apologetic for the wait. She was very professional and caring, even with all the stress of the emergency case and the resulting waiting room full of patients. She went above and beyond to reassure me and my terrified puppy and undertook comprehensive examinations and tests to find out what was wrong and administered treatment without delay. Thank you vet Elana, and all the nurses for your wonderful care. My puppy started improving almost immediately and was back to his usual cheeky self the next day. Elsa was very compassionate and helped us out with our emergency very quickly - great front desk staff aswell and very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Literally no wait time when we went which was very important as our case was quite painful for the animal. Definetly won me over and I won't be going anywhere else. I am really disappointed. to cut a long story short after spending nearly $400 to find out why my beautiful girl was so miserable they left a prescription for human medication at the desk. rang the chemist who said it is discontinued. that can happen so called back to booval vet who prescribed another human medication which does not have the same function so replacing apples with oranges not apples with apples. as it is an inhalant I pointed out I had no chance of getting this down into the dogs lungs. told to buy a mask also from the chemist. Craig does not seem to realise that dogs and humans have different faces. human mask doesn't work. the attitude I found from Craig was that the script for the inhaler is at reception. our job is done. not interested. go away. phoned another vet who despite not having taken hundreds of dollars from me immediately said you need a dog mask, you can't buy it from the chemist I will have to order you one and then discussed the different treatments available still without taking money off me. suspect peak crossing vet might actually care about their work. thank goodness. won't go back to booval. HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE AT THIS PARTNERS SURGERY AT PINE MOUNTAIN VET CLINIC. OUR BEAUTIFUL 20 WEEK OLD SHOW QUALITY HIGHLY BRED DOGUE DE BEAUDEAUX PUPPY WAS LEFT FOR SURGERY AND SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE SAFE HANDS OF THIS VET SURGERY. HE WENT IN 9 DAYS AGO GORGEOUS AND HEALTHY AND CAME OUT MAIMED AND INJURED AT THE HANDS OF A INCOMPETENT YOUNG VET NURSE WHO WITHOUT PERMISSION SATURATED OUR YOUNG PUPPIES COAT AND NECK WITH CHEAP HIGHLY PERFUMED DOG COLOGNE IN WHICH REACTED WITH HIM CAUSING EXTREME PAIN AND FRYING OFF HIS COAT NOW LEAVING BLACKENED HORRIBLE WELTS ALL OVER HIM THAT LOOK VERY UGLY. 2 OTHER VETS AND MANY MANY PEOPLE INCLUDING PET ESTABLISHMENTS THAT HAVE SEEN AND HEARD WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM AND WHEN TOLD A VET SURGERY CAUSED THIS DAMAGE ARE JUST AS APPALLED AND HORRIFIED AS US.. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN HELPFUL TELLING US THEY FEEL OUR FRUSTRATION IN OTHER WORDS DONT CARE AT ALL...... THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING MY ADVICE DONT LEAVE YOUR DOG OR CAT AT THIS SURGERY AS WE DID AND THEY HAVE CAUSED US AND OUR PUPPY GREAT GRIEF AND STRESS.... I WILL POST HOW THIS CLINIC APPROACH A RESOLUTION HOWEVER IT APPEARS THIS MAY BE PERMANENT AND HOW DARE THEY BUTCHER SUCH A BEAUTIFUL DOGUE PUPPY WITH AN ACT OF STUPIDITY AND INCOMPETENCE. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS AND THE STARES OF PEOPLE AND COMMENTS THAT WE HAVE HAD ONE INCLUDING HAVE YOU HAD ACID THROWN ON THAT PUPPY...... DISGUSTING. WE ARE EXTREMELY TRAUMATISED AND SO IS OUR BELOVED PUP..... DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS VET PRACTICE IF YOU LOVE AND CARE FOR YOUR ANIMALS BECAUSE AS WE FOUND OUT WHEN THEY CAUSE A PROBLEM THEY JUST DONT CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY JUST WIPE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS OFF THEIR WEBSITE AS WE FOUND OUT.... 2 MONTHS LATER WE STILL HAVE A BADLY MAIMED PUPPY THE BURNS FLARE UP AND HIS HAIR IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOUR AND STILL NO OFFER OF HELP OR OUR MONEY BACK OR COMPENSATION....
