I found out I could purchase the same heart medication from queensland.for$54.vet charges $102.i asked for a prescription.they charge $18 to print it out. I'm a pensioner and the dog needs these pill for life...very disappointed.. Read Less

This practice is one of the best we have found in out travels throughout Australia and their staff are exceptionally passionate about their jobs. Even with the loss of our old Lab we still duck in from time to time just to say hi and would recommend this practice without any hesitation. Read Less

Excellent customer service and low waiting times. Have been a great place for my fur babies. They kept me well informed about my Rufus who recently received treatment for fatty liver and prior to that cyctitis. Both times were handled well. Kept it to suit my budget and advised me of our options. However 1 nurse practitioner did get on my nerves when she called to update me of Rufus progressive state, she talked too much and hardly allowed me to get a word in for 10-15 mins of the call. Do not take your pets here!!!! We were booked in for an appointment well before closing time but didnt see the vet till 10 minutes before closing he was more interested about getting out of the clinic then helping my pup. He mentioned numerous times that if it wasnt closing time and the next day wasnt a public holiday he could do more. My pup is now no longer with us THANKS FOR CARING. Read Less

All pets have always given good advice and always given my cat the best care :) They're always happy to do extra things too (like clean the pet carrier if my cats been car sick). They are very compassionate, and its easy to get appointments at times that suit you. Read Less

We have been going to Caboolture animal hospital for many years now and our dog gets very excited every time we go there the staff are always friendly and do a great job. The grooming is excellent and the job done is always to what I ask. Couldn't get a better place for my little mate. Read Less

Not interested in care of your animal. .. only interested in money.... After spending hundreds a month before.... when taking my dog back in after he fell ill.... was told he swallowed a corn cob... although I protested as he had no access to any corn cob or similar... plus he wasn't a chewer.. he was injected with saline and i was told if he wasn't better by the next day or two to bring him back.... was then told it would mean surgery if i brought him back and they couldn't and help me if i had no upfront cash, they handed me a cash converters pamphlet and told me to try them and watched me carry my 45 kg dog to the car...( no other people waiting etc so could've offered a hand instead watched me struggle from behind the desk ) After taking every last cent for a misdiagnosis and some saline ($360.00 odd) I called another vet out of desperation as his condition deteriorated by the next day. A $75.00 test plus consult later he was diagnosed with Parvo and I was informed there had been an email sent out to every Vet in the area including them stating there was a parvo outbreak and also informed if this Vet had done the $75.00 test (instead of dismissing my concerns) there was a very big chance he would have been able to be treated and would have survived because he was in peak health apart from parvo.... he had every typical sign of parvo so much so when talking to the vet nurse at the other vet she picked in immediately. Weren't interested in pet insurance either for some reason. Will never step foot again near this place and hope they do right by any other clients in future. He is now nothing but ashes and box sitting on my shelf. Read Less

The Vets and all the staff at Allpets Caboolture Animal Hospital are wonderful. We feel that they have always genuinely cared about our dogs' welfare. They offer carefully considered advice and present us with all the information we need to make informed decisions, but they are always totally respectful that they are our decisions. We have been bringing our dogs here for 14 years and although we have moved into Brisbane we continue to bring our dogs here. I bought my dog on the weekend to the wonderful team at Allpets after he was attacked by other dogs on the beach on Sunday. Luckily his injuries are not serious and after surgery he was fine. I cannot thank all the team enough, they looked after him (and me!) extremely well. Read Less

One vet tells us take him off the pills and he should never gave been on them, next visit we get a different vet who says he should not have been taken off the pills? Incompetent describes at least one of the 2. We have just had our dog in to have a tooth out, the stiches were placed incorrectly and not tied properly resulting in the wound opening up. Upon return to this vet we are told that the stitches have dissolved due to infection (dissolved would mean no longer there, not have come loose and been placed incorrectly) $700 for the first visit then another $288 to fix their stuff up. Highly recommended using a different practice. However the staff out the front are friendly and generally pleasant to deal with. Read Less

Cannot say how great the vets and staff are, They have always been kind compassionate, and we have just taken our new puppy there, and he dog they have treated. We have been going there for more than 16 years. They have always treated us and our dog well [last one not good patient] and could not fault the way they dealt with our decision time to say goodbye to him. This new little dog races in to see them happily and they now offer even greater services. Vets spend many years training, having to have so much knowledge. David Julie vets & staff are tops. Cannot thank David and staff for the fantastic job retrieving a pin from our puppy's stomach. We got prompt caring attention from vet never met before, and all staff so kind caring that brought tears to eyes. The hospital is awesome, like the staff, and as we have been with them since late 1997 we don't think there are any better vets & staff anywhere, Sarah explained all details action taken the next day and our dog just loves tham all. I have been attending this practice for the last 8 years. I have always found them to be competent and being able to accept appointments at late notice has been helpful. I have seen several vets over the years and all have been great. The senior nurses have wide knowledge and are always compassionate. With great competition in this day, they must be doing something write to have repeat business. The new building is great too. Read Less

DISGUSTING PEOPLE!!!!!!. My mum took a dog who was bitten by a venomous snake and turned away as she left her wallet at home 30 mins away( dog in absolute pain) This was on a sunday -could only withdraw $700 @ a ATM She had to to organise a relative to lend the rest before antidote could be given by vet. They were up front with prices and the explanation of what's wrong. My dog is being cared for, I know her progress & she's on her way to getting better. Every time I use their grooming service I'm happy. Chookoo is comfortable there and is loved - it's a great vet. They amputated one of our other dogs legs (she was in an accident) and she's still waggy tailed when she goes in there - a dog tells you a lot about a place! :) Read Less
