I have just read some reviews from your clinic. Unsatisfied customers.... When we decide to have an animal to love and care for? We also need to realise the expense they may include??? Cairns veterinary Clinic have offered me genuine care and incredible respect and concern for my dog. He has in recent times cost me financially an amazing amount of money to look after his wellbeing???? This isn't the vet"s problem? Fault? Thank god they have been able to offer the service they do to allow my beautiful dog a quality of life? We all know the expenses of veterinary consultations???? So please don't start disrespecting the exceptional work they do??? Knowing it's not cheap? It's simple! Don't have an animal, and pass the buck??? When medical attention is needed? I thank these guys from the bottom of my heart for everything they have done for our precious boy They need to be paid like the rest of us???? It is what it is? It's no secret???Read Less

I will never take a pet back there.. Our beloved dog went missing and 6 days later the council picked her up. When we picked her up we realised something was seriously wrong so we took her to this clinic. We found two huge paralysis ticks on her, she was slightly dehydrated, she had lost approx 5kgs since her disappearance and she had soft tissue damage on her chest (we all hypothesized that it was probably a car due to the damage, the scabs and her scuffed nails). I had no idea about paralysis ticks so I thought she was going to be okay, upon further research she really didn't have a chance. But the vet said (some high percentage) of animals make it without personalizing it to our dog. But really I would have preferred for her to be euthanized while we could be there for her letting her know we loved her instead of her dying alone(we weren't allowed to visit her for the 3 days they had her). They put her in the bottom cage near a fence to open field backyard... it's not surprising they found a 3rd paralysis tick. They phoned my partner saying she didn't have long.. he was 5 mins too late and then they said that he had to pay the bill before he could even see her. I know it's not the vets fault she died I'm just horrified at what I think was a heartless way to get money. We never got to say our goodbyes and that's why I will never, ever recommend or use this vet clinic again. Read Less

Read Less
