Dr Paddy Batch and wife Kym Batch started Whites Hill Vet combined with The Pet Shop in March 2003. The purpose of our opening, was because Dr Paddy saw numerous patients, which had been put in unnecessary pain due to advice given by pet shops. By combining a veterinary clinic and pet shop; “WHITES HILL VET and THE PET SHOP is Vet owned for CATS & DOGS” supplies better advice for your cat and dog, which will reduce the potential harm Dr Paddy and other vets see all to often. This reliable knowledge comes from the professional nursing staff and Dr Paddy himself.
Whites Hill Vets has now grown into not only a veterinary clinic and pet shop but with a grooming service attached. We are committed to providing clients with personal and friendly service at an affordable price.
We ensure this in two ways.
Firstly, we have lowered our parasite control product prices to compete with the prices of the online stores.
Secondly, while we offer all available tests and treatments, we accept the course of treatment chosen by you. Further we will help you with the difficult balance of how to best spend your pet dollar.

Pretty poor all round in my opinion. Having spoken to three other vets and have come to the conclusion that this vets are happy to charge over the odds for treatments that aren't required. The latest treatment, that I've now cancelled, came in at over 30% more expensive than five other vets in the neighborhood. On top of that, there are a myriad of other 'add ons' that may or may not be needed - We all know they will be needed.
From my perspective, I don't feel as if I have received value for money at all. In fact, I feel as if I've been taken advantage of.
Won't be coming here again. Shop around, people.

Our spoodle had an ear infection and was prescribed a cleaning product, the vet said "I can show you how to do it the first time", it wasn't until we git our bill that we realised we had been charged $36.35 to clean his ear. Our bill came to $259.96 for a yeast infection in his ear.

I have been to other vets and never have I felt the same amount of love towards my dogs as what Paddy gives them. I can honestly say you wouldn't be disappointed if you came here.

I like the new location. It's much easier and safer moving pets in and out of the car; plus you won't get wet if it's raining!
