Wrong Diagnosis, didn't care, my guinea pig died. They never replied to my email.
My Guinea pig wasn't eating and was in very bad shape, I could tell the Lady didn't know what to do, she ended up giving antibiotics to treat a supposed infection. 2 days later my guinea pig was feeling even worse, got a second opinion from a different vet, unfortunately it was too late, she was completely paralysed. Orchid Valley told me they were not specialised in guinea pigs but could try. Obviously they didn't try hard enough as they could have done a blood test to check on her vitamin C level which was probably the issue. They charged me $91 for a wrong diagnosis and useless medication. I also found out too late they could have called a specialist based in Brisbane for advice. Like the other vet said, a cat a dog a horse a guinea pig, they are all mammals and should be treated as well, obviously they didn't really care in her health, I am convinced with the right health check she could have been saved or at least her pain could have been eased as she suffered extremely. Her sister is now lonely and we are left very sad. They also didn't bother responding to my email in which I complained.

I have two dogs a goat and a snake and wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after my pets. They are caring and very knowledgeable, and work with me to provide the best care for my animals. Thanks to Mark, Anya and the nurses there, take care of my pets as if they were their own.

Orchid Valley vet Surgery I cannot Not recommend.
high prices, won’t give prescriptions out to able to buy affordable medication for my dog. Only make you Buying their Medication at high prices. Putting extra stress on my dog by visiting the clinic , charging me for it because I run out of heart medication, even I told them my vet is on holidays and they knew my dog.
They know I had only them as an option to go to, because my dog is depending on those tablets.
Those policies are made not for safety just for own money income. As it’s only a veterinary the policies of this clinic is higher than at your own doctors.
Thank you ladies for not helping out , my dog cost me 5- 8 per day on medication which is a quite expensive for me.

I've been taking my beautiful animals, Chica cat and Lenci dog to Mark since both Chica and Lenci were born. With one condition that Lenci had, Mark advised against standard treatment, which he disagreed was an acceptable treatment, because it put the dog's life at risk and said it should only be used when the dog's life was at risk from the condition anyway. I followed his advice and because Lenci had a fairly mild condition, she recovered with some very simple measures taken.
I trust Mark to always put the health of my "kids" first and not take the quick and easy way out at their expense.

Wrong Diagnosis, didn't care, my guinea pig died. They never replied to my email.
My Guinea pig wasn't eating and was in very bad shape, I could tell the Lady didn't know what to do, she ended up giving antibiotics to treat a supposed infection. 2 days later my guinea pig was feeling even worse, got a second opinion from a different vet, unfortunately it was too late, she was completely paralysed. Orchid Valley told me they were not specialised in guinea pigs but could try. Obviously they didn't try hard enough as they could have done a blood test to check on her vitamin C level which was probably the issue. high prices, won’t give prescriptions out to able to buy affordable medication for my dog. Only make you Buying their Medication at high prices. Putting extra stress on my dog by visiting the clinic , charging me for it because I run out of heart medication, even I told them my vet is on holidays and they knew my dog.
They know I had only them as an option to go to, because my dog is depending on those tablets.
Those policies are made not for safety just for own money income. As it’s only a veterinary the policies of this clinic is higher than at your own doctors.

I've been taking my beautiful animals, Chica cat and Lenci dog to Mark since both Chica and Lenci were born. With one condition that Lenci had, Mark advised against standard treatment, which he disagreed was an acceptable treatment, because it put the dog's life at risk and said it should only be used when the dog's life was at risk from the condition anyway. I followed his advice and because Lenci had a fairly mild condition, she recovered with some very simple measures taken.
I trust Mark to always put the health of my "kids" first and not take the quick and easy way out at their expense.
