My dog had conjunctivitis, I knew it, they knew it, the whole world knew.
Still I had to go in for $72 visit + meds.
If it was as simple as that it would have been fine, but I felt the whole time they were trying to stitch me up with unecessary tests and medicines.
$150 later I left feeling very annoyed and won't be going back.
I'm sure they are good vets but it's dissapointing they treated me that way. Read Less

Would never visit this vet again. After visiting the vet earlier in the year to get annual vaccinations/check up we did not experience any problems. However after a few months my dog needed her nails clipped. I was informed over the phone that It would cost me $40 to do this even though it is included in the annual checkup. After asking if they could wave this fee considering we had a check up 3 months before and did not get her nails clipped....they said No we would have to pay again.
This is when the disaster starts.
The first nail the vet clipped bled all over the table! My dog was obviously very distressed and was crying and clawing at me to make it stop. After finally calling in the vet assistant to help stop the bleeding, the vet attempted another 2 tries at different nails until I finally told her to stop.
My dog was so distressed that I could not bear to put her through anymore. I was told to 'youtube' dogs scratching their nails on sand paper as an alternative!!
Considering only 3 nails were clipped (and not to an acceptable length either) I was not expecting to be billed the entire quoted amount....I was informed I still had to pay...which I did. We were only in there for 10minutes and I would certainly not call it a consultation.
My dog left crying and shaking in my arms (was not even given a treat at the end....I had to purchase it) and i was covered in blood. NEVER AGAIN! Read Less

Amazing what being at the right place, at the right time can result in. For us it was attending an old friends engagement party up about 3 hours away from Brisbane. His parents were looking for a good home for one of their dogs "Phatso". We told them about how last year (2015) our daughter got fixated on wanting a dog, in particular a pug. Now, being on a single income, a dog was not something we could afford - and what were the chances of getting a pug? Turns out, pretty good. Cause that's is Phatso's breed! Told you, amazing - being in the right place and the right time.So here we were, with a dog and not ready for it. With about at that! There were so many things to get organized. Lucky for us, our local vet is Carina Veterinary Clinic on Old Cleveland Road. From our first experience of a general check up, to organising her desexing, to being a phone call away when I'm stressed out about a dog related matter, I can't fault the staff here. They are fantastic and better yet, we feel welcomed and part of the family. They are caring and loving towards my Rolly (yes, I had to rename her - cause she's not so Phat anymore). So thank you for your stellar service. Read Less
