We recently adopted an older Persian cat from My Vet when her owner died. The staff were very helpful and caring with lots of advice and information to help us with our adoption and our existing cat. They were also very caring and helpful when sadly one of our fur babies died. They took care of everything for us and we received a beautiful box with his ashes. Great, helpful, friendly service! We are so disappointed with the treatment we received at the MyVet Billinudgel. We were baby sitting an 80year old ladies dog when it became unwell. We rushed it to MyVet at Billinudgel where the dog died the next morning. This dog was this ladies life and we were devastated to tell her and it was terribly awkward to give her the bill for almost $900. We had numerous calls to the vet to arrange a cremation the following days after the dog died, never once did MyVet mention that there was any more money owing. When the elderly lady returned we had to let her know her precious little dog had died, she was shattered. She paid us for the vet bill but 4 weeks after the dog had died, the cremation had happened we received another bill for $500. I phoned the vet to discuss that this was not our dog, we were baby sitting and why was this not told to us before we told the elderly lady and how can we ask her to pay this now. Also how could they charge $500 when I paid in full and was about to take the dog home but she had a bad turn while I was there and died in less than 1 hour.you would expect to pay something but $500 for so short a time did not make sense to me. There was no final notice with a due date, no warning that they would be getting debt collectors. We thought the matter was still in discussions until we received a bill now for almost $650. This vet is about money and I would not recommend to anyone to take their precious pets to them. I have love dogs, have dogs and worked with dogs for 16 years and have never experienced a vet clinic so heartless and for the money. Read Less
