In all of my years of having pets there are two vets I have encountered that I realized were 'special'. Dr Chris Pearson of Cooroora Vet Clinic in Cooroy is one of those vets. His care of my beloved brown Newfoundland, Fudge, was always exemplary. But it was when he diagnosed a very aggressive form of bone cancer in Fudge that his 'specialness' really came to the fore. When he broke the bad news to me that I would have to put Fudge down because this form of cancer would have been physically excruciating for him, he did so gently yet confidently. And when he showed up at my home on that dreadful day he (and nurse Fran) handled the situation with the perfect mix of professionalism and compassion. When I eventually make the decision to get another dog there is no doubt in my mind that Dr Chris Pearson will be my vet of choice. I cannot thank you enough Chris for making the worst day of my life just a little less bad. 5 stars from me. Read Less

In all of my years of having pets there are two vets I have encountered that I realized were 'special'. Dr Chris Pearson of Cooroora Vet Clinic in Cooroy is one of those vets. His care of my beloved brown Newfoundland, Fudge, was always exemplary. But it was when he diagnosed a very aggressive form of bone cancer in Fudge that his 'specialness' really came to the fore. When he broke the bad news to me that I would have to put Fudge down because this form of cancer would have been physically excruciating for him, he did so gently yet confidently. And when he showed up at my home on that dreadful day he (and nurse Fran) handled the situation with the perfect mix of professionalism and compassion. When I eventually make the decision to get another dog there is no doubt in my mind that Dr Chris Pearson will be my vet of choice. I cannot thank you enough Chris for making the worst day of my life just a little less bad. 5 stars from me. Read Less
