They, and the whole team are fantastic and caring, & talk you through your options with facts, care and compassion. It's well worth my drive right across town for my pets to be in their care.

I took my 5 month old kitten in to be desexed. A very common procedure, but they 'had complications' and my little girl died at the vet. She was happy yesterday morning, now she is dead, and I wish I didn't take her in to be desexed. I wasn't informed correctly about the procedure and the potential consequences. I can't believe that my healthy kitten died in their care.

When it was time to let go of my 13 year old German Shepherd, I was devastated. On 24 March, when I went to see him in the morning, he could not get up and had urinated on himself. He has not eaten the dinner night before. I did not know what to do and called his vet at West End Clinic. They were unable to give me an appointment or come and see him until Tuesday. I knew he could not stay like that for 4 more days. They did not give any information or did not even wanted to listen and I ended up in tears. I then called the Highgate Hill Vet and they were amazing. They listened to me, told me the costs involved when I asked, even though my dog has never been there. Dr Emil rearranged the schedule for the day and promised to come in the evening when my daughter is at home. As promised Dr Emil arrived around 6.30pm. He was understanding, kind & empathetic. We are so grateful that he could made it possible for my boy to peacefully pass away at home, on my daughter's lap, rather than in a strange environment among strangers.
Highly recommend.

This practice was recommended to me by my cousin after a bad experience at Greencross. The staff here are wonderful, so friendly and kind to the animals. Emille has looked after both my cats now & he is a gem, really puts me at ease with his calm, quiet manner & he really cares. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. They have a great cat called Gigi who guards the door at the surgery, so cute!

I have been their client for the past 13 years originally because I could not find any vets in the area (I used to live in Highgate Hill). I then moved house and found they are always good with my cranky cat and try not to rip me off. My friend said this vet is way too expensive, but they always try to find the best option, and while my local vet tried to charge me top dollars to clean my cat's teeth, Emil suggested to try oral care food. My cat unfortunately hated it, and ended up with teeth cleaning on sedation. Emil is really polite and I can see he really loves animals. I am happy to stay with them.

Moving across from Greencross vets to these guys years ago the best thing I could have done for my beloved animals. Of which I have quite a few. And I realised just how much I was being ripped off at Greencross. These guys are much more reasonable worth a no nonsense approach to your animals health and well being, they saw my Staffy during his final months of life and will always admire them for their utmost respect for the care and treatment they gave him.

My rescued pooch, Lizzie, loves coming here! Jumps out of the car & can't wait to race in and say hello to everyone, including their laid-back cat. All the staff are kind and caring. Lizzie's ailments - ear infections, hot spots, diarrhoea (yuck, sorry) have always been treated with immediate response and complete resolution. And if that isn't enough, they always call me a few days after the visit to see how Lizzie is going and if she is improving. Be great if our GPs did that!

We have been going to this practice for 4-5 years and continue to do so despite us having moved across town. We really trust them and the advice that they give. The Vets and the support staff have always been willing to help us at short notice. For which we are eternally grateful. We feel that our pets (and us as pet parents) are very well looked after. I would definitely recommend without hesitation.

I have brought all three of my dogs to this surgery, first to William, then to Emile and they have received the best treatment that we could hope for. On the odd occasion we have had to take our dogs to the emergency vet, we always get a follow up call from Emile to check up on our pets and make sure we don't have any questions. They don't overcharge and we have often been pleasantly surprised at the low bill at the end of each visit. I recommend this vet to everyone I know and our dogs are always happy to see the lovely staff there. Can't speak highly enough of the whole practice.

Bad reviews are rubbish. I've been taking my kitty to William and staff for 4 years. Was terrific from our very first experience when we had to take kitty after he'd ripped out staples done by a different vet (which had cost mega $$$). William explained it didn't need staples in the first place, saved us an additional large amount of money and gave the best care. The clinic is cost-conscious for pet owners and understanding. That injury healed perfectly and have gone on to get great care and support ever since. Vet nurses and other vets always go out of their way to be helpful, caring and provide comprehensive advice, even over the phone, without pressure or rushing. They treat the pets beautifully and seem to genuinely love their jobs and the animals. I have recommended the clinic to many friends who've all had great experiences and now call this their regular family vet

She was happy yesterday morning, now she is dead, and I wish I didn't take her in to be desexed. I wasn't informed correctly about the procedure and the potential consequences. I can't believe that my healthy kitten died in their care.

When it was time to let go of my 13 year old German Shepherd, I was devastated. On 24 March, when I went to see him in the morning, he could not get up and had urinated on himself. He has not eaten the dinner night before. I did not know what to do and called his vet at West End Clinic. They were unable to give me an appointment or come and see him until Tuesday. I knew he could not stay like that for 4 more days. They did not give any information or did not even wanted to listen and I ended up in tears. I then called the Highgate Hill Vet and they were amazing. They listened to me, told me the costs involved when I asked, even though my dog has never been there. Dr Emil rearranged the schedule for the day and promised to come in the evening when my daughter is at home. As promised Dr Emil arrived around 6.30pm. He was understanding, kind & empathetic. We are so grateful that he could made it possible for my boy to peacefully pass away at home, on my daughter's lap, rather than in a strange environment among strangers.

Emille has looked after both my cats now & he is a gem, really puts me at ease with his calm, quiet manner & he really cares. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. I have been their client for the past 13 years originally because I could not find any vets in the area (I used to live in Highgate Hill). I then moved house and found they are always good with my cranky cat and try not to rip me off. My rescued pooch, Lizzie, loves coming here! Jumps out of the car & can't wait to race in and say hello to everyone, including their laid-back cat. All the staff are kind and caring. Lizzie's ailments - ear infections, hot spots, diarrhoea (yuck, sorry) have always been treated with immediate response and complete resolution. And if that isn't enough, they always call me a few days after the visit to see how Lizzie is going and if she is improving. Be great if our GPs did that!

Highgate Hill vet took excellent care of our dear Freya when he got vaccinated, desexed and microchipped all in the same day. Would recommend them to anyone :)

We have been going to this practice for 4-5 years and continue to do so despite us having moved across town. We really trust them and the advice that they give. The Vets and the support staff have always been willing to help us at short notice. For which we are eternally grateful. We feel that our pets (and us as pet parents) are very well looked after. I would definitely recommend without hesitation.

I have brought all three of my dogs to this surgery, first to William, then to Emile and they have received the best treatment that we could hope for. On the odd occasion we have had to take our dogs to the emergency vet, we always get a follow up call from Emile to check up on our pets and make sure we don't have any questions. They don't overcharge and we have often been pleasantly surprised at the low bill at the end of each visit. I recommend this vet to everyone I know and our dogs are always happy to see the lovely staff there. Can't speak highly enough of the whole practice.

Bad reviews are rubbish. I've been taking my kitty to William and staff for 4 years. Was terrific from our very first experience when we had to take kitty after he'd ripped out staples done by a different vet (which had cost mega $$$). William explained it didn't need staples in the first place, saved us an additional large amount of money and gave the best care. The clinic is cost-conscious for pet owners and understanding. That injury healed perfectly and have gone on to get great care and support ever since. Vet nurses and other vets always go out of their way to be helpful, caring and provide comprehensive advice, even over the phone, without pressure or rushing. They treat the pets beautifully and seem to genuinely love their jobs and the animals. I have recommended the clinic to many friends who've all had great experiences and now call this their regular family vet
