I couldn’t recommend Dr Simon highly enough. (If I could give more stars I would). After almost 17 wonderful years, we had to say goodbye to our beautiful dog Lili. Dr Simon has been there from the very beginning and until the very peaceful (and emotional) end. Highly experienced, compassionate, informative and always a willingness to assist with anything big or small (including a good conversation or a laugh). We will forever miss and love Lili always. Thank you Dr Simon so very much for your care of her over the past 17 years.

This was the best vet experience I've ever had. I took my 13 week old pup to see Simon off a friend's recommendation. Simon was super professional, clearly loves working with animals and was very informative.
Bella really enjoyed her time with him, stitches removed and all. I know his as we had to do a quick turn around as I'd forgotten something and she was delighted to see him again.
I had been to a certain franchised vet in my neighbourhood which was unremarkable. This experience was personal and welcoming. (Bella was also super stoked for the laser thermometer, rather than reliving the rectal exam she'd had previously!)

We have been going to EMP Vet Clinic for aprox 3 & a half yrs & have always found Simon to be a very kind ,considerate & caring Vet for our old boy Yogi & the 'Parents". Always explaining what can or can't be done for your Pet in the same way that you would expect your Doctor to do for you & or your family. Just recently we sadly had to say Good-By to Yogi, we did this with Simon in a slow, calm, gentle & very caring way.Simon was so very respectful & kind to our part German Shepherd, Yogi who had made it to 15yrs & 8mths. With the great medical advances in the Vet world that we are so lucky to have these days & the guidance of a Vet like Simon, we can usually offer our Pets the chance to live longer with us.Simon you are in the right profession, you are a great animal lover who is totally connected to their world & well-being. I recently moved to the area and was frantically looking for a reliable vet. I was so glad I listened to the others who had left great reviews as Dr. Simon was extremely calm, professional, and polite.
Our Border Collie x Cattle dog, Jacky, is definitely a handful but Simon knew exactly how to handle him and Jacky seemed comfortable around him too.
At no time was I pressured to buy any products but was instead provided with valuable information on what we should look out for with treatments. All the information he provided was backed up by academic readings and articles.
Not only did Simon seem genuinely concerned about our puppy's health, he was helpful with training him to be obedient.

I would not hesitate to recommend Simon as a vet to anyone. Simon has been looking after my crazy pets for years. I have numerous vets much closer to where I live but I will always travel further to see Simon.
He is everything you want in a vet, calm, assured and compassionate and above all he always puts your pets best interest first weather that is what you want to hear or not.
The clinic is always clean and tidy. I love the fact that all the staff are obviously big animal lovers and always fuss over my pets when I arrive.

I used Eight Mile Plains Vet Surgery for my previous cat, who lived till he was 23 years of age (in human years) and are using them again for my new little cat that I got from a rescue shelter. I found Simon always to give me truthful and honest information so I can be the best cat owner I can be. He is always up to date with the latest research and knows which are best for my cat, which saves me having to waste time reading about which of the millions of cat wormers are best.
I find the surgery fee's very reasonable in comparison to other small animal vet clinics and if I am not sure on something I can call and speak to the vet directly about any health concerns that I may have in regards to my cat.
I have recommended him to other friends who have small animals with health conditions and have been frustrated at their current vets.
Highly recommend.

This was the best vet experience I've ever had. I took my 13 week old pup to see Simon off a friend's recommendation. Simon was super professional, clearly loves working with animals and was very informative.
Bella really enjoyed her time with him, stitches removed and all. I know his as we had to do a quick turn around as I'd forgotten something and she was delighted to see him again.

Always explaining what can or can't be done for your Pet in the same way that you would expect your Doctor to do for you & or your family. I recently moved to the area and was frantically looking for a reliable vet. I was so glad I listened to the others who had left great reviews as Dr. Simon was extremely calm, professional, and polite.

He is everything you want in a vet, calm, assured and compassionate and above all he always puts your pets best interest first weather that is what you want to hear or not.
