These vets are amazing with small and exotic animals. I have taken 2 of my rats here. They are knowledgeable and caring. Whilst a little expensive it's worth it if you have a small or exotic pet that needs some care. Read Less

This vet while claiming to want to do the best for your pet are only interested in ripping off their customers. $170 for one test is just one example. After spending over $500 for a sick chicken and not diagnosing the problem, I won't be paying any more. This unethical way of doing business seems to be becoming the norm. We have been taking our pet rats here for several years now and we love the care and attention that every single vet there has given us. They have all been informative, polite, and nurturing towards us and we couldn't ask for a better veterinary service. From the very first phone call I knew I was taking my dearest bird ‘Flower’ to a good place. Sadly her time here was to be no longer, but the staff were amazing and compassionate through the whole process. After collecting her I was very touched to see how beautifully she was wrapped. They even took her foot prints on a card, gave a beautiful little poem and some of her feathers in a little bag. It was all very dignified, and just today I also received a lovely card in the mail from them. I’ve visited many vets over the years all of whom are wonderful but these guys are above par in all areas of care and know exactly how to best care for and treat our feathered loved ones. I took my piggie there 2 months ago because I noticed something was not right, they told me "he was just feeling a heat wave of the summer", then told me to go home just get him more ice packs.... 1 month later I took him again to them and again, they told me there was nothing wrong and he was just changing his "mood" and that again I should just go home and not worry about it, 2 weeks later I took my piggie again to another vet that discovered a chest infection on the first visit... sadly today is the saddest New Years for me.. my piggie passed away and I feel really sad and disappointed that despite my concerns they did nothing but charge me $500... I have to say that during the two visits I made they never examined my piggie in front of me, they use a lot of students in the clinic and I have the certainty that they didn't examine my piggie in front of me because the two times my piggie was in the clinic was examined by students only.. When the vet used to meet me they would only tell me their "findings" (which was ridiculous on both cases)... I'm extremely sad that they only care about money and will let your pet die to "simplify" their workload with students.... If you love your pet as I did DON'T GO WITH THEM, save your loved one and take him to a real vet!! Read Less

It's worth having a publicly posted negative review than not discuss the appalling and inadequate care and service I've had with this clinic, their 'treatment' and worst - their management. I'd rather take my small exotic pet to a standard practice than risk my animals life - again. Two years on and they still have the same issues; if you speak up about a problem, they won't discuss anything with you. Don't make a complaint, don't speak to management if they miss something that kills your animal - they will quite literally "fire" (their words, not mine) you as a client rather than explain what went wrong. Absolutely wonderful vet for my pet rats. Barely any vets know how to care for them, but the vets here specialise in our furry little friends. Deborah and Melinda specifically are lovely, and such great vets. Both have saved my little rats lives on numerous occasions and are up to date with the newest medications and methods to try. Beyond fantastic!! I can not recommend these guys enough! I took my guinea pig here and Dr Emma McMillan was so knowledgeable and very caring and considerate, especially after I had such a bad experience at a regular vet.
