General Info
Gympie Veterinary Services is one of Queensland's largest mixed animal veterinary practices. There are 13 veterinarians employed at the practice and in excess of 30 staff. The practice services all animals and our veterinarians travel as far as Rainbow Beach, Imbil, Maryborough, Tansey and Goomeri and even beyond. Our veterinarians have wide ranging experiences and backgrounds and they are all constantly attending courses of continuing education which allows us to offer the best services and most up to date information to all of our patients and clients. Gympie Veterinary Services also has strong relationships with various specialists in all fields of veterinary medicine. Gympie Veterinary Services is open 5 1/2 days per week and offers an after hours service which is available 365 days per year.

Hello, we bring all our dogs and cats here and absolutely would never go anywhere else. First of all the girls on Reception are super friendly and helpful and all love animals themselves. Secondly the Veterinary surgeons themselves are sensational, we mostly use Shannon, and he is respectful, compassionate, professional, thorough, listens well, knows his stuff and has always done the right thing by our animals. We trust him 100%. When we have used the other Veterinary surgeons, they too, have been all of the above. If ever there has been a problem with any of our dogs or cats, it has been resolved and our animals made better. When we had a cat with Seizures, who eventually had to be put to sleep, this Vets went wholeheartedly on the 18 month journey with us to try and help Howard, they never faltered once from helping Howard have the best life he could possibly have. Cannot praise this Veterinary surgery enough. Thank you so much love Jules, Dean, Jackson, Sheldon, Gypsy, Lennard, Scarlet and Vegas xxx

Kindness compassion professional and such a genuine love for animals... These are the qualities I have found each time I have needed to utilise vet services. They were simply lovely to talk to. Just so understanding and compassionate. Plus really great follow up just to check how things were. I will always be very grateful for their attitudes and help.

My experience with Gympie Veterinary Services has always been great. Staff are always friendly and attentive and animals are always in good hands here. While car parking is limited I've never had an issue parking in here before, and the building is always clean and well maintained.

I want to thank your staff for being very compassionate when we required our beautiful dog Stella to be put to sleep due to illness.
Thank you for allowing my wife & I to have private moments to say our final goodbyes.
I cannot fault their professionalism and understanding at a difficult time
I cannot thank you enough for making a very upsetting decision less traumatic, as her sleep came upon her very quickly
Stella is no longer suffering and is at peace, thank you

Just had a large growth cut off my dogs eye, service was excellent and pricing was very fair and as esitmated. They also detected a problem with my dogs heart that if gone un-noticed could have killed...
Just had a large growth cut off my dogs eye, service was excellent and pricing was very fair and as esitmated. They also detected a problem with my dogs heart that if gone un-noticed could have killed it in the next 6 months. Thanks to Gympie Vet Services dog should be okay with the right medication now. Thanks alot can't afford to loose this family member :)

Hello, we bring all our dogs and cats here and absolutely would never go anywhere else. First of all the girls on Reception are super friendly and helpful and all love animals themselves. Secondly the Veterinary surgeons themselves are sensational, we mostly use Shannon, and he is respectful, compassionate, professional, thorough, listens well, knows his stuff and has always done the right thing by our animals. Just had a large growth cut off my dogs eye, service was excellent and pricing was very fair and as esitmated. They also detected a problem with my dogs heart that if gone un-noticed could have killed it in the next 6 months. Thanks to Gympie Vet Services dog should be okay with the right medication now. Thanks alot can't afford to loose this family member :)
