Thank you Louise for coming out and making sure mother and baby were settled in before you left. It meant a lot to me. In 40 years with horses, I had never seen ingrown hairs. I've experienced it with dogs, but not horses. My boy was being very bad and defending himself instead of working as he had been. My option with something I don't understand is to call the vet. One quick look was all it took to diagnose. Being on the wither, they were treated. One took 3 injections to disperse, but well worth the effort and cost.
I know I hold up vets when they visit. I always have a tonne of questions stored in my head. All have suffered me and helped me learn- something I love to do. I have also learned a great deal from the posts.

A group of extremely patient and professional Vets at the East Doncaster Vet Hospital! They went the extra mile to make sure my dog is healthy after ingesting plastic today (even tried to put back together the plastic bits I salvaged to assess how much she's eaten!). I received very good advice from all 3 vets there. High recommended.

I first met Louise Cosgrove, the directing vet of this practice, when she did dental treatments on my horses and I was amazed and impressed at her knowledge and care of my horses. I have since used Exclusively Equine for reproductive work for my mares as well as basic call outs such as colic and wound stitching and I have never found any vet I have had more confidence and faith in. I recommend Louise Cosgrove and her staff without hesitation and am eternally grateful to have such a fantastic equine vet on hand. Not only have I found the cost of using this service very reasonable, Louise has been more than approachable with any concern I have had and has gone above and beyond the call of duty and has been happy to talk about any concerns I have had over the phone for my own peace of mind. Definitely a 5 star service in my book

A group of extremely patient and professional Vets at the East Doncaster Vet Hospital! They went the extra mile to make sure my dog is healthy after ingesting plastic today (even tried to put back together the plastic bits I salvaged to assess how much she's eaten!).
