I recently took my cat to Indooroopilly Veterinary Clinic as my cat was limping badly. I agreed to everything the vet recommended including a seniors blood test, and it was only when I got the test results that I realised that almost none of the tests had anything to do with a limp. The vet also squeezed all of my cat's joints and told me that he had arthritis. I told the vet this really surprised me, as I had seen him do a really high jump only a couple of weeks before and that I had never noticed any mobility issues previously. The vet got very hostile and said "he has pain responses in all four joints" and tried to get to me to agree to arthritis treatment. I'd seen how hard she had squeezed the cat's joints and frankly, if someone squeezed my joints that hard I would react too. I was billed $423 (I'd been quoted $385 but the clinic did another test without my prior agreement). I'm glad I held off on the arthritis treatment - a day and a half later the cat's limp was completely gone, he was again doing effortless high jumps and I haven't seen any mobility problems since. I will be finding a new vet. Read Less
