I know I am very upset. And this is my opinion alone. All my cats and dogs, for the last 30 years were followed in this surgery. My beloved German shepherd died peacefully at home in 2004. Stephen sent the mobile vet to euthanize her. Pauline was very gentle, gave my girl an anaesthetic injection before shaving her leg for the final injection, and this gave us time to cuddle her while she was still there. I thought it would be the same for our 12 years old toy poodle. I did not bring my baby to the surgery, as this always upset her; I wanted her to be at home in our motor home. The lady vet came in, and to my surprise started to shave my puppy's leg. She became very upset, the vet then tried to inject her. That's when I understood that my little girl was not getting anaesthesia. I said to the vet: "she knows what you are doing"! I was very, very upset. She went back to the surgery to get the anaesthetic injection. I was ready to take my girl back home. But she settled, and I was concern to have her dying a painful death if I waited too long. Finally, she passed. I am still in anguished to have had to make the decision to euthanize my companion, but mostly, when I think of her last moments, I relive the fear she had for an instant. Will not use again - twice we've gone there, twice we've had to take our dogs back to emergency back in brisbane, as the vet there did not provide the necessary drug / surgery my dogs needed. Took one of my big dogs there after he was injured with open wounds... Take one look my dog, and you will know that if he's injured, he need stitches, not staples, but the vet didn't listen. Obviously, the wound open up again, and we had to rushed him to emergency. Took another dog there with obvious uti, as she's prone to it, and they won't give her the necessary drugs without a sample. Again, back to AEC in Brisbane. Will not recommend this vet ever Read Less
