Ruby was old and very ill. Dr Liz and her Team were very sensitive and caring whilst still being very professional.
The support, care and kindness they showed was second to none.
Today my friend received a lovely handwritten sympathy card from Dr Liz and her Team it was the most heartfelt random act of kindness I have ever witnessed.

Wouldn't go to these guys if your animal needs surgery. Surgeons on a battlefield getting shot at in nam do better jobs. My dog loves people, after his second visit he was all hackles and growls, have taken him back to his usual vet instead and had no issues. Simple procedure done for a rescue dog turned into a month in a cone for a big boistrous pup. Nurse was standing over my dog demanding him to "heel" having had no history of his training and in a stressfull environment then yanked him on a short lead - lucky my boy is socialized otherwise she would have some mastiff shaped teeth holes in her. What a shamozzle!

Our cat of just under 20 years took a turn in between Christmas and New Years and had to be put to sleep after numerous visits over 4 days... Liz and the staff were fantastic, caring and lovely... we were very tight for funds and the final charge was way lower than it should have been... I wish we have used these guys earlier and we highly recommend them.

You will not find a more dedicated Vet and team. Liz dropped everything to help our dog that had paralysis tick bites. Her staff were equally amazing. Due to her quick actions we still have our belove...

I took 3 year old Charlie to South Side Vets for urgent dental treatment yesterday. I was quite nervous and worried about extractions however within minutes vet Kirsten had put me at total ease regarding the upcoming procedure. She was unhurried and thorough in her explanations of what needed to happen and why. Little Charlie decided she was ok as well. I really felt they genuinely cared for my much loved four footed friend. All the staff, including Maddie and a vet nurse were friendly and helpful and I came away with a sense of my dog matters. I am so glad to have found a vet that I can confidently hand Charlie over to. I cannot recommend Southside Vets highly enough, thanks Kirsten and team for your caring efforts yesterday. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they are so friendly and professional and always take time to answer questions and to make both pets and their families feel comfortable. Liz (and all the team) are very knowledgable and you can tell from the moment you walk in that your pet is in great hands. Most importantly, my dog Otto is actually HAPPY when he's in Liz's hands! I cannot describe how amazing Liz and her team are. It is great to walk in and be known by name... as well as the pets known by their name. As a small practice you can tell that these lovely ladies ar...
I cannot describe how amazing Liz and her team are. It is great to walk in and be known by name... as well as the pets known by their name. As a small practice you can tell that these lovely ladies are not in it for the money, but are there for the animals. And sadly, many larger vet clinics are not like this (in my experience). There has been times where I have had massive discounts and other little specials that keep me going back again and again... and with 2 pets that currently need ongoing vet treatment, those little "specials" help out immensely. They have also offered other kids of treatment for my animals that other vets have not even suggested (or do not know about) and so far, so good.
For EG. I have an epileptic cat that used to have a fit once every fortnight (at least)...since going to Southside she only has a fit now every few months! It is amazing!!! So glad I found this little practice and I hope Southside doesn't go anywhere any time soon!

For EG. I have an epileptic cat that used to have a fit once every fortnight (at least)...since going to Southside she only has a fit now every few months! It is amazing!!! So glad I found this little practice and I hope Southside doesn't go anywhere any time soon!
