I have a turtle that I used to take to all animal vets and used to see a lovely lady that specialised in reptiles. That lady no longer works there and I was given a different vet witch I was with as I wasn’t told that she didn’t specialise in reptiles. My self and my turtle were literally in with the vet for 5 minuets, she hardly looked at him not even touching him once and told me he was fine. I was very unsure of this so took him for a second opinion where I was told that he had an infection and would have to have medication every 3 days. I phoned all animal vets to let them know that my turtle was actually very sick as just an FYI, I had a lady who was very rude didn’t seem to care at all and hung up on my when I half way though telling her what had happen.
