I definitely thought it was all about money when a young vet came in and said my dog was very sick without even any tests. She came back with a price for my dog after 2 minutes of looking at him . She said all these bad things that Cou be happening and I said how do you know without a test . All She said was he's very sick I paid my money and got him out of there. He's doing well . Do not go there.

This franchise is only a money making business.They don’t really care about your pet, just your money. They opened up my 1 year old puppy and found nothing because he was vomiting. I did agree to the operation because the vet rang me 2 hrs after leaving him for observation and kind of convinced me to go ahead because they only keep the dog there till shut up time and then they ask you to send your pet to emergency. They removed a lymph node for no reason. Found out they just throw it away. I believe this was an operation that was not necessary. $3329 later make sure you get second, third opinions. Will not use this vet clinic again or any other Greencross.

Passionate about pets......what a lie passionate about money more like it. After trying to organise my dogs pills as ive done every other month for a couple of years im suddenly informed he cant have his pills til he can come in for an appointment(more money) on top of the 140 for the pills already. So he just has to suffer until then apparently. Pathetic.

I was the first to arrive at the vet and on time for my dog’s appointment, which was a routine vaccination. After waiting for 20min and seeing other 3 customers arriving later than me being seen, I went to ask the staff how much longer it would be. They said there were 2 vets and one was busy doing an ultrasound but it wouldn’t be long, just another couple of minutes. After 30min from my arrival, I gave up and had to leave without getting my dog vaccinated, as I had to go to work… I think emergencies can happen (I don't believe it was the case at all) but I would appreciate if the staff had informed me on arrival, but they couldn't care less. It was my first and last visit to Greencross Carrara. What a waste of my time!

I have been a customer for nine years, with three pets, now two. I have never had a complaint about my Vets in Carrara, however, since becoming a franchise, it's clear their only consideration is money. Staff are usually considerate and caring but for one young lady, who is rude, uncaring and has an inability to be helpful. My last two visits to this vets has proved challenging. I have a good choice of vets locally and will be taking my business elsewhere. If I treated my customers the way I have been treated, Id have none! Choose your practice wisely and I recommend you go to a vets that is not a franchise.

I usually dont write bad reviews on business's pages without trying to resolve my issues with them in person first but after my experience today they dont deserve that respect.
I stupidly went here today as my usual vet couldnt fit me in and I didnt want my beautiful pet to suffer any longer then she had to and the attitude I got from staff was appalling.
From a judgemental female vet to a male nurse or vet (who knows) walking in to my room "by accident" and responding with a half hearted "sorry" while I was grieving for my pet then to top it off I was not acknowledged or consoled whilst making payment for this painful enough day.
The staff at Robina green cross are amazing but sadly the opposite can be said about your Carrara branch saying good bye to a member of the family is hard enough with out dealing with uncaring and rude staff.
Ill be continuing my support at my own vet where they trully care about animals, keep their costs down and ive never felt judged or ashamed when visiting.

Horrible experience there today.. went in to get a script renewed for ear drops for my dog and they would not order the medication even though it was within the 6 month period that they stated I would need to get it filled within!! I apparently have to make another appointment for the vet to see him even though he has had the same issue for 7 years!!!! Very poor service and money hungry if you ask me.. we will not be returning!!

I was the first to arrive at the vet and on time for my dog’s appointment, which was a routine vaccination. After waiting for 20min and seeing other 3 customers arriving later than me being seen, I went to ask the staff how much longer it would be. They said there were 2 vets and one was busy doing an ultrasound but it wouldn’t be long, just another couple of minutes. After 30min from my arrival, I gave up and had to leave without getting my dog vaccinated, as I had to go to work… I think emergencies can happen (I don't believe it was the case at all) but I would appreciate if the staff had informed me on arrival, but they couldn't care less. I have never had a complaint about my Vets in Carrara, however, since becoming a franchise, it's clear their only consideration is money. I stupidly went here today as my usual vet couldnt fit me in and I didnt want my beautiful pet to suffer any longer then she had to and the attitude I got from staff was appalling.

Horrible experience there today.. went in to get a script renewed for ear drops for my dog and they would not order the medication even though it was within the 6 month period that they stated I would need to get it filled within!! I apparently have to make another appointment for the vet to see him even though he has had the same issue for 7 years!!!! Very poor service and money hungry if you ask me.. we will not be returning!!
