Very unhappy with the professionalism we received during an accident which occurred with our dog while being groomed. We sent our dog for a groom through the surgery to only get a call a short time later to say part of her ear had been cut off. We understand that accidents like this may happen however the staff at the surgery weren't as compassionate or professional as we would of expected in this fragile situation. They did pay for medical costs for fixing her ear however did try and have us pay for the blood test to check if our dog could be placed under anaesthesia before we refused too. They then charged us for the groom at the end of the ordeal as well, which considering this was more then a small cut we expected to not have to fork out the costs of this service. Robert is an abrupt rude vet. Very unprofessional in the way he deals with clients. There are many vets out there with great expertise and professionalism. Your pet is worth doing your research for. I did not like my experience with him and wouldn't leave my pet with him. Read Less

Absolutely disgusting response to Hayley's poor treatment as described above. Hayley and I were temporarily restricted financially as I was between jobs. This however is no longer the case, if the cowardly vet had bothered to speak to me, as I was standing right next to her. The vet couldn't even look me in the eye as he blatantly belittled my partner in front of me. The theme of his baggering was that the dogs problems were all caused by poor ownership and that this dogs lifelong ordeal will be expensive. It's not what he said, it's how he said it. I know because we've since taken our business to the lovely girls at the other ormeau vet who have told us about his skin conditions and the growth on his foot and the correct treatment. All of which has now be taken care of by them. As for the discounted dog food offered?, I'd happily pay triple the price if it means I'd never have to deal with that arrogant, unprofessional coward again. I guess the theme of my baggering is that when a vet cares more about money than an animals care or the education of animal owners, his losses through fewer business will be... expensive. Read Less

Vet is only interested in making money our dog had an ear infection which he needed to put to sleep for to clean out the ear and a special type of medicine which cost a fortune. Another vet in Ormeau (the Vet Lounge), fixed the problem with ear drops. Read Less
