Pimpama Pet Vet is a veterinary surgery that specialises in small animal health. We are a passionate team of three who are devoted to the health and wellbeing of all animals.
The services we offer are plentiful. Services include:
- Dentistry/dental care
- Digital Radiology
- Ultrasound
- Spay and Neuter
- Non-routine, soft tissue and basic orthopaedic surgery
- Vaccinations and heart worm treatment
- Nutritional advice and wellness exams
- Nail clipping
- Tick clip
Along with the arrange of products that stock our shelves. Our varied products consist of worming tablets, tick and flea treatment, shampoo and conditioners, leads, bowls, brushes, treats and Royal Canin food products.
Our Team of four includes Dr Gavin Purdon. Gavin is the primary vet at our facility and completed his Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 1998. Since graduating Gavin has dedicated his time to small animal care. He has 2 large rescue dogs and a much smaller cat at home. Gavin is passionate about offering the best possible level of care for your pet.
Working alongside Gavin are two veterinary nurses Geoff, Janelle and Gabby, as well as a trainee vet nurse Soraya.
With the dedication and passion our team has and the services and products we provide at Pimpama Pet Vet, your pet will not go without and will receive the very best of care as we care for your pet as if they were are our own.

I've been taking my dogs and cats to Pimpama Pet Vet for a few years now.
We lost Muffin to bone cancer just before Christmas and you couldn't ask for a greater bunch of people. They were there for us every step of the way.
Now we have Buddy. He loves visiting the Vet and getting spoilt rotten.
The cats are very comfortable there as well, which is unusual for cats.

They waited after hours for me to arrive and gave so much love and care at such a traumatizing time. Experienced and knowledgeable with genuine care, super clean clinic and friendly staff. Took my two kittens to get desexed 2 weeks ago and even though I was so nervous about the procedure the girls at the clinic made me feel so relaxed and did such a great job with my babies. They are reasonably priced, offer a free post-op check (Which is great for worry warts like me!) and seemed to adore my kittens as much as I do! I had a great experience and will be using them in the future :)

On my visit the Nurse was extremely rude and seemed reluctant to help...
Went in to get a microchip checked on an animal we found before taking it to a shelter as I've heard good thing about the clinic.
On my visit the Nurse was extremely rude and seemed reluctant to help or even wanting to deal with us. Considering its pretty easy to check for a chip and it takes less than a minute just abit of pleasantries would've been welcome.
I do have 3 pets myself but after that experience I'd rather go elsewhere.

On my visit the Nurse was extremely rude and seemed reluctant to help or even wanting to deal with us. Considering its pretty easy to check for a chip and it takes less than a minute just abit of pleasantries would've been welcome.
I do have 3 pets myself but after that experience I'd rather go elsewhere.

Called in to book my puppies in for microchipping and vaccinations it will cost me $600 which is a great price however both my partner and I work full time so we needed a Saturday. Spoke with Janelle who told me she wouldn't book a Saturday as its wasting there valuable time.. Suggested we could do half the puppies Friday afternoon the rest Saturday but she also said that they wouldn't give a discount due to not being all done at once. What in the world is wrong with this place!!

Best vets on the Gold Coast. My dog has a complicated set of medical issues and these vets have been the only ones with the experience and knowledge to help keep him stable. I drive 45 mins to take my dog there because they are so good. After being let down by some of the chain vets and prescribed the wrong medication by some of the others and even baffled by the lack of knowledge of the junior vets at the animal shelter, someone at work recommended Pimpama Pet Vet and I am grateful for having found them.

I would not even rate this place or even send my dog to get treated here EVER !! A wonderful neighbor had taken a lost dog who got out of his owners backyard to this place to only be verbally abused by a male staff memeber not only was this dog being fostered by people but the male staff should of acted professionally and kindly sent or gave this lady who was only thinking of this poor dog who she witness nearly get hit by a car who had foam at his mouth and obviously in distress mode or a address to the right place to take him. The owner of this business should be disgusted by this unprofessional behavior of this male staff member because we will never spend our money on such a poor Mannered staff . People if you love your pets please please find another business who deserves your hard working money and who will trully love your beautiful pets because this place obviously has no compassion or respect for people who are only think their doing the right thing to help a animal in need .

I've been taking my dogs and cats to Pimpama Pet Vet for a few years now.
We lost Muffin to bone cancer just before Christmas and you couldn't ask for a greater bunch of people. They were there for us every step of the way.
Now we have Buddy. He loves visiting the Vet and getting spoilt rotten.
The cats are very comfortable there as well, which is unusual for cats.

Took my two kittens to get desexed 2 weeks ago and even though I was so nervous about the procedure the girls at the clinic made me feel so relaxed and did such a great job with my babies. They are reasonably priced, offer a free post-op check (Which is great for worry warts like me!) and seemed to adore my kittens as much as I do! I had a great experience and will be using them in the future :)

Best vets on the Gold Coast. My dog has a complicated set of medical issues and these vets have been the only ones with the experience and knowledge to help keep him stable. I drive 45 mins to take my dog there because they are so good. I would not even rate this place or even send my dog to get treated here EVER !!
