After my dog had his leg ripped open we went to the Greencross at Camira where they charged us a fortune just to bandage the leg. We were then told we had to return in 2 days for more re bandaging and to buy the bandaging and do it ourselves wasn't an option. Upon returning to the Redbank Plains Clinic, the nurse had to rip the bandage from his skin off because the original nurse had failed to put any protective layer between the bandage and skin. Not only did this rip all my dogs hair off but also reopened the gash we spent $300 trying to heal. We then left with new wrapping that fell off that same night, exposing his weeping wound. I rung and expressed my frustration and the fact my dog is now extremely sore from having his leg ripped at, and was just told despite the fact it just fell off his leg within a couple of hours of it being put on the materials were still used so we won't be issuing a refund. If you have a cat do not go here. The vet dumped my cat out of the carrier onto the bench and my cat fell on her face. Waited in the waiting room for 1.5 hrs and they let all the dogs through first. The vet told me she doesn't know what is wrong with her eventually then had to pay $60. Ridiculous!! Read Less

This vet is terrible. The prices are ridiculous. They do not care for the pets they are only there for money. $115 just to see my dog who was injured. Nothing else. Just the consult. Not to mention i know there would be treatments needed. I have gone to them for many years but i have realised how silly i was. I will never be going there again and i will be visiting a vet who treats animals like animals not money. I hate this vet... not everyone has $$$$ laying around. It horrible to think if my dog had seriously hurt himself the kind if money i would need to come uo with when vets just down the road are 1/3 the price. Read Less

I have a 17 year old cat who is somewhat a regular at Greencross at Redbank Plains for the past couple of years. They have been nothing short of amazing to me and my animals. He is part of the Healthy Pets Plus program which is unbelievable value for money and I would have spent thousands so far if I hadn't have signed up to it. I am so grateful for their care.Read Less

These people show NO consideration or kindness towards animals and are only there for the money! My 19 year old kitty has a urinary tract infection and as an experiened cat breeder and owner for over 20 years the symptoms are obvious to me. I requested one antibiotic to start her treatment and to help aleviate her distress until our usual vet opens tomorrow but no, not unless I come up with $110 for a consult plus the money for the medication. They didn't offer me a discount for what would be a one minute "consult" to give my poor kitty just one tablet. Seriously, that's all it would have taken! Had to go too another vet to get our dog fixed after 2 separate visits to Greencross clinics. Unable to correctly diagnose dog. Quoted $$$$ for a operation my dog did not need, while failing to treat him for what he did need. Left my dog to suffer with a slipped disc for weeks while telling us it was his knee, which according to two other vets was not the problem. Regional manager here handled our complaint in the most unprofessional manner possible. Unethically got my dogs records without my permission from the vet who we eventually went too, who diagnosed the problem. Called up and made out as if they were treating my dog too get the records. Lied to me multiple times about the condition and our treating vets diagnosis, still with no regret nor regard for the well-being of our dog. Regional Manager continued this line despite dog responding to other veterinary treatment. Refused to accept any responsibility and tried to provoke an argument with rudeness and by insulting our intelligence to drive our complaint away. Failed to manage or investigate. Regional Manager was so unprofessional and with his customer skills does not deserve nor could keep a job at Mcdonalds. Healthy pets plus was poor value because our dog did not receive the same level of care. Extreme quotes for what other vets do not believe requires surgery. Be warned.Read Less
