Took my happy dog in with the start of an ear infection last Monday don't normally use this vet! My other vet always prescribes Dermotic which always works straight away but the vet said no and prescribed CANAURAL! By Wednesday night my dog was in so much discomfort and pain. At midnight started cleansing out the poisonous TOXIC CANAURAL with Epi-otic and started researching this drug! Was horrified that the side effects are LOSS OF HEARING! Sent them a message that my dog was in agonizing pain! Didn't hear anything so Friday rang to complain and the manager said she would follow it up and ring me Monday! Well didn't hear anything so rang today 4 days later, she finally rang and said I needed to bring my dog back in! Care factor of this vet is ZERO! Won't be going back! Read Less

Previous to this, everything has gone well with this Vet. This is a similar story to the last review that gave 1 star. I simply went in to drop my dog off for a surgery and they breezed through a form saying 'okay so she's booked in for this and this' and to 'sign here'. The second 'thing' was actually going to cost a lot of money if they should need to do it, which was not announced to me at the time. Later on we get told that it did take place and that it was an extra couple hundred dollars. At no point when I got there was I ASKED that IF this were to take place, it would be 'x' amount of dollars and if I was okay with that. They simply proceeded to do it then charge me. Complete shafting. As I said, everything before this has been really good but this was bulls***. To charge someone for something without ever letting them know they would be charged. Slack. To be honest, the person I dealt with was absolutely fine and friendly, but sh**, if you're going to charge someone for something, let them know BEFORE you do it or at least ask permission. Sorry guys. Not good. Read Less

Avoid at all cost! I called this vet to get a repeat prescription for my dogs contact rash on her tummy, as she has been treated for this by green cross vets before. They told us that they could not give us a repeat prescription without a consultation and this would be $72 + drugs. As we had no choice we agreed. I told them during the consult that she had also suffered with ear mites before and that May be contributing to the itching, the vet said “ I’ll take a quick look” and diagnosed that she didn’t have mites but she did have a yeast infection. We left with a set of drops, the rash tablets and a $261 bill. They had charged me an additional $53.20 for putting a swab in my dogs ears during the consult. There was no mention of this at the time, it was just added to my bill. What was the $72 consult fee for is not to assess the dogs health. After checking the rate charged for the drops $82.20!!!!! I checked the price via google and found multiple retailers selling them for less than $40! Read Less

I am shocked and appalled at the service I received at this clinic. They treat your pet like a commodity. "Upselling" services like insurance and upgraded stiches for desexing at ever visit. I took my 7 month old in for X-rays was quoted $500 (expensive as is) and charge $605 on return. My beloved pet requires surgery on her hip and they quoted $2,500.00 and on a second quote from a competitor have now booked the quote for a mere $700.00. The price difference is ridiculous and their pricing in general is daylight robbery. I would not recommend their services, stay away at all costs unless you want to be ripped off. Read Less
