Highly recommend. Dr Rory took care of our Gwen very thoroughly and didn’t rush us at all. Very appreciative. Not exactly cheap but I guess that is the standard vet price. Also the undercover parking is too squishy so I parked on the street. Overall, great clinic and service, I will definitely be returning as needed.

I’m glad I have Dr. Kevin and Dr. Rory for my chihuahua. They are dedicated to give the best advise for my puppy. Very approachable and easy to talk to. They always make sure that I understand everything by phone or by email. I am very lucky to have them. The staffs are very friendly too. What an AMAZING vet! We took our guinea pig in to see Dr Kevin, and he treated him with such care, and done everything he possibly could (including having cuddles with him and his little brother) to help him on his recovery. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you so much for helping our little fur baby. He is already doing a lot better - more active, wanting to eat veges again, and taking his critical care and water.

Dr Kevin and his team are the most compassionate, friendly professionals. We recently lost our beautiful old boy bullmastiff Floyd not long ago, Kevin was so sincere with our last 4 days with our Boy. His warmth and kind words to me helped my grieving process. They take pride in their work and really love our pets as much as we do as owners. I received a beautiful card and the rainbow bridge poem to our home a week after our boy was put to sleep. And the words that Dr Kevin said to my boy "sweet dreams Floyd" just made me realise the loving man he is to our animals. Thank you Kevin you have a huge heart

Absolutely one of the best services I've ever received. Dr Kevin Cruickshanks is very dedicated and passionate about animals. We saw him tearing up when we were delivered the bad news of having to euthanise our little darling. Not many people can care for animals like that and we trust that he would deliver the best in his capacity to help our furry friends. A great animal lover makes one of the best veterinary surgeons as he would have the animal's best interest at heart. Excellent staff too. Keep up the great work!

Kevin and his team really are exceptional. After relocating from Brisbane to the Gold Coast for work, I tried various vet practices for my dog Max and none of them made me want to go back. They either lacked empathy, customer service skills, sensitivity to handling animals or their prices were too high. Unlike the Gold Coast Vet Surgery they didn't have the kind of formula that prospective regulars look for.
Special mention goes to the lovely Charlotte Witty who is consistently friendly, genuine and caring, considering so many people come through those doors with their pets each day. The reception/vet nursing staff are fantastic too. So glad I found you and although I'm not a fan of Surfers Paradise, this is one drive into the area I don't mind.
With regards to the person who gave the practice a one-star review, my only guess is that he was a high-maintenance pet owner.
Thanks again GC veterinary practice. You are wonderful and you provide a refreshing contrast to the others :)

This veterinary surgery is one in a million, from the lovely ladies at reception who are always so kind and thoughtful to the amazing and talented vets who have treated all three of our dogs since the first day we walked in. Our Border Collie, Sonny, was diagnosed with lymphoma in December 2015 and Dr Kevin Cruickshank has been providing Sonny with chemotherapy to treat this awful disease. Kevin and all of the rest of the crew at the Gold Coast Vet Surgery have been with us every step of the way and we cannot thank them enough for everything that they have done for Sonny as well as the rest of our dogs. Could not more highly recommend this vet. Most compassionate, caring and wonderful people you will ever meet!

We have a Labrador that has a few social problems to say the least. He gets very aggressive around strangers and other animals he is not familiar with. We were told a few years ago that vets may refuse to treat him because as he gets older and larger he poses a real danger to treat. Kevin has seen him on more than one occasion and has him totally happy and no muzzle lol If you have a pet use this vet they are all so amazing. Took us 3 years to build up the courage to take our dog to be de sexed, dropped him off went back they had him up and happy. He didn't have any pain or problems. Slept 3 hours then wanted to play with his ball. Could not recommend this clinic enough

First of all, the premises are top notch having been fully renovated and upgraded last year. Previously, the surgery invoked images from the pages of Charles Dickens ! Dr. Kevin and his team work in a state of the art vet. surgery . There is even a TV to view and coffee to drink.
I'm surprised homeless people don't spend time there !
Moreover and importantly, the standard of treatment is very high indeed.
The skill level and experience of Dr. Kevin and his colleagues is at the highest level. Furthermore, Dr. Kevin has an 'X' factor, a passion and instinctive ability to heal sick animals!
I forgot to mention car parking - that one could describe as good, with both undercover and street parking always available.

Without a doubt best Vet we have seen in 8 years of owning our dog. Our dog suffers terribly from anxiety and has behavioural issues and finding a Vet willing to address that has not been easy. We finally feel we have found a Vet who is not only hugely compassionate and supporting but gives amazing advice and referrals for specialist added assistance. Dr Kevin's manner with our Vet fearing dog was astounding! We've never seen him respond to any Vet in the way he did today. Can not recommend him enough.

The most amazing and compassionate vets I have ever been too. Dr Kevin was wonderful yesterday when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to send our 15 and a half year old staffy, Rocky, to the Rainbow Bridge. We didn't feel pressured or rushed to make a decision and could have spent as much time with Rocky as we wanted. A terribly sad process made easier by the empathy of the staff.

Excellent care and service from Dr Kevin and his staff. We travel from the other side of town to get the best care for our cat.
Some of the things we like include professionalism, caring attitude, no over servicing (which can be an issue with big vet chains), wonderful facilities (have never seen better in a vet surgery), friendly and thoughtful.
As a busy business person, it is SO refreshing to deal with a top class outfit.

Absolutely one of the best services I've ever received. Dr Kevin Cruickshanks is very dedicated and passionate about animals. We saw him tearing up when we were delivered the bad news of having to euthanise our little darling. Not many people can care for animals like that and we trust that he would deliver the best in his capacity to help our furry friends. A great animal lover makes one of the best veterinary surgeons as he would have the animal's best interest at heart. Excellent staff too. Keep up the great work!

Kevin and his team really are exceptional. After relocating from Brisbane to the Gold Coast for work, I tried various vet practices for my dog Max and none of them made me want to go back. They either lacked empathy, customer service skills, sensitivity to handling animals or their prices were too high. Unlike the Gold Coast Vet Surgery they didn't have the kind of formula that prospective regulars look for.
Special mention goes to the lovely Charlotte Witty who is consistently friendly, genuine and caring, considering so many people come through those doors with their pets each day. The reception/vet nursing staff are fantastic too. So glad I found you and although I'm not a fan of Surfers Paradise, this is one drive into the area I don't mind.
With regards to the person who gave the practice a one-star review, my only guess is that he was a high-maintenance pet owner.
Thanks again GC veterinary practice. You are wonderful and you provide a refreshing contrast to the others :)

This veterinary surgery is one in a million, from the lovely ladies at reception who are always so kind and thoughtful to the amazing and talented vets who have treated all three of our dogs since the first day we walked in. Our Border Collie, Sonny, was diagnosed with lymphoma in December 2015 and Dr Kevin Cruickshank has been providing Sonny with chemotherapy to treat this awful disease. Kevin and all of the rest of the crew at the Gold Coast Vet Surgery have been with us every step of the way and we cannot thank them enough for everything that they have done for Sonny as well as the rest of our dogs. Could not more highly recommend this vet. Most compassionate, caring and wonderful people you will ever meet!

We have a Labrador that has a few social problems to say the least. He gets very aggressive around strangers and other animals he is not familiar with. We were told a few years ago that vets may refuse to treat him because as he gets older and larger he poses a real danger to treat. Kevin has seen him on more than one occasion and has him totally happy and no muzzle lol If you have a pet use this vet they are all so amazing. Took us 3 years to build up the courage to take our dog to be de sexed, dropped him off went back they had him up and happy. He didn't have any pain or problems. Slept 3 hours then wanted to play with his ball. Could not recommend this clinic enough

First of all, the premises are top notch having been fully renovated and upgraded last year. Previously, the surgery invoked images from the pages of Charles Dickens ! Dr. Kevin and his team work in a state of the art vet. surgery . There is even a TV to view and coffee to drink.
I'm surprised homeless people don't spend time there !
Moreover and importantly, the standard of treatment is very high indeed.
The skill level and experience of Dr. Kevin and his colleagues is at the highest level. Furthermore, Dr. Kevin has an 'X' factor, a passion and instinctive ability to heal sick animals!
I forgot to mention car parking - that one could describe as good, with both undercover and street parking always available.

We just had a major operation on our pug to repair his cleft palate. Kevin and his team were so understanding and helpful. Kevin made sure we understood everything both pre and post surgery. Even though it took a lot longer than expected it was a huge success and we are very greatful to him for all the extra attention. I would recommend Kevin and his team to anyone.

Without a doubt best Vet we have seen in 8 years of owning our dog. Our dog suffers terribly from anxiety and has behavioural issues and finding a Vet willing to address that has not been easy. We finally feel we have found a Vet who is not only hugely compassionate and supporting but gives amazing advice and referrals for specialist added assistance. Dr Kevin's manner with our Vet fearing dog was astounding! We've never seen him respond to any Vet in the way he did today. Can not recommend him enough.

The most amazing and compassionate vets I have ever been too. Dr Kevin was wonderful yesterday when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to send our 15 and a half year old staffy, Rocky, to the Rainbow Bridge. We didn't feel pressured or rushed to make a decision and could have spent as much time with Rocky as we wanted. A terribly sad process made easier by the empathy of the staff.

Excellent care and service from Dr Kevin and his staff. We travel from the other side of town to get the best care for our cat.
Some of the things we like include professionalism, caring attitude, no over servicing (which can be an issue with big vet chains), wonderful facilities (have never seen better in a vet surgery), friendly and thoughtful.
As a busy business person, it is SO refreshing to deal with a top class outfit.
