We had been battling with our Jack Russel's skin for over two years, with many visits to our local vet and many tests and medications later she was starting to look like she was a Mexican hairless variety of hound. Today I experienced the worst possible actions by someone who masquerades as an animal lover. My dog waited patiently for over an hour for an X-ray was then startled and reacted with fear and anxiety. He was then hit, spoken to overly aggressively and then dragged by his collar up onto an X-ray table. Keeping in mind he has a bad (reconstructed) knee and is 25kgs. As he was dragged up he was so distressed and frightened that he peed himself. This was despite my plea's for this aggressive unnecessary behaviour to stop. Both myself and my dog were visibly distressed by the actions of this man. I am absolutely disgusted and encourage others to consider their desperation before sending their dog or any pet to this practice.Read Less

When my precious Cavalier, Evie, was savagely attacked in May 2013 I was of course in deep shock. The care that she received from Dr Michael was much appreciated and Judy and her husband were kind enough to drive Evie and I home. Sadly, Evie passed away the next day after overnight surgery at Springwood. I received phone calls from the staff at Brian Stewart Vet Clinic to say how sorry they were. Anyway, after 18 months of grieving I have just purchased a female Cavoodle named Zoe. She will be coming to visit the staff at Brian Stewart Vet Clinic for her vaccinations and ongoing care :-) Read Less
