There is no way i would recommend this vet to anyone. First incident our dog got a grass seed in her face. Prior to operating we were told she would be getting a drain put in. We get our dog back and she doesn't have a drain in and two days later she has to go for another surgery to put a drain in because her face was full of fluid then they had the audacity to tell us there is a possibility i would have to pay for the 2nd surgery. Then we take the same dog in for a c section on sunday. We take our dog and her 5 puppies home to meet my 3 kids. They didn't even check the pups because the next day we have found 2 with very obvious cleft. But we were told the pups were definatly checked for cleft but on my inspection it was obvious they weren't. I had been warned by numerous people about this place but unfortunately gave them the benefit of the doubt after been recommended it by our original vet who work closely with them. Iv been using many different vets over my years of being a wildlife carer and this is by far the most disgusting unprofessional veterinary surgery i have ever come across. I highly recommend you think twice before using this so called "veterinary surgery" Read Less

I brought in my cockatiel 2 weeks ago (only now getting around to writing this review), he has broken a blood feather and just needed a simple removal - it’s a two minute and painless procedure. I brought him to this vet as my regular vet was unavailable. First, they didn’t let me go into to the room with him while getting the feather pulled out which I found quite odd but I didn’t worry too much about. He was then brought out after about 5 minutes, in the box we had brought him in. We paid the fee and left. Upon arriving home we got him out of the box to find he was BLEEDING quite heavily. I called the vet and question why he would be bleeding so much as this had never happened before after removing broken blood feathers. The vet assured me that he must have knocked himself while travelling home and to told me to apply pressure and he would be fine. Feeling very uneasy about it I called me regular vet and begged her to come over ASAP. Too my shock the broken feather we were told had been removed WAS STILL THERE also THE VET HAD TORN HIS SKIN SO BADLY IT HAD TO BE GLUED BACK TOGETHER TO STOP THE BLEEDING. Pain killers were also given to him. If I had of listen to the vet and applied pressure it would have inflicted more pain and he may have bled out if my vet didn’t come when she did. I have the report from my regular vet. This is absolutely ridiculous and I hope no one loses a pet because of misconduct like this. Be warned. Read Less

I've been to quite a few vets before and since visiting the team at Nicklin Way, I will never see another vet. They are friendly, professional and affordable. It's hard to find a Vet that is great with cats. Every person I have had with my kitties has been nothing but professional and caring. I've always been able to get an appointment easily and quickly. They always go above & beyond with every appointment. If you are new to the area or searching for a new vet, i highly reccomend Nicklin Way Veterinary Clinic. You won't be disappointed. Read Less
