I was recommended to use this vet when I moved to the area by Tracey & Dave & it's better then the one I used in my old town! Love the service, my little dog doesn't get as distressed as he did before...
I was recommended to use this vet when I moved to the area by Tracey & Dave & it's better then the one I used in my old town! Love the service, my little dog doesn't get as distressed as he did before & our bigger puppy loves it too. Also love the advice they have given to help us save some money super impressed will recommend to anyone with pets.

mammory gland surgery....may i ask where the drain tubes are?
taking her back to you with sever swelling and with infection 10 days later and advised to take her home with more meds. than...

10 days later (total 20 days) found the vet you should have recommended in the first place.
your 800 dollar botched surgery has caused nothing but dramas.
now totalling $1800.
you are NOT caring at all and when politley questioned your staff are just rude and walk away from direct conversation or question.
you give 32mls of antibiotics for skin tag removal (separate visits) and 10mg for the mammory sugery?? even i know as an unqualified something is severley wrong with your vets prescriptions.
so in the end we had 1.5lt of fluid removed. and is now on the mend. no thanks to balaclava vets.

Nothing but good things to say about Paul and his team : ) Came to him for a second quote after consult with another vet clinic- so glad I did - massive price difference, huge difference in cost (WAY CHEAPER) but same quality of care. Staff loooked after little Milly so well. With her bladder stone problem, and Paul very reassuring when called for advice after hours -wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I've been seeing Dr Paul Mathews with my animals for the past 12 years. They are a fantastic surgery to deal with and care deeply about their patients. Staff are all friendly and very helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend Balaclava and Redlynch Valley vet surguries. Paul has other wonderful and caring vet's who are all very skilled and caring people also working with him.
