I’m so thankful we found Wilston Vet, we have had exceptional service from the first phone call and won’t go anywhere else. Wilston Vet completely put our minds at ease as to what was wrong with our Cat, and what our options were, answered all of our questions so we understood exactly what was needed. Wilson Vet is amazing. My little rat wasn't too well and she needed her claws cut. I was panicking over finding somewhere who specializes in ratties but came across these guys so close to me. Amazing service, they made us feel at home and so welcomed. Quick service, wonderful personalities and many cuddles for my little girl which is a welcome relief to the normal reaction to a rat. dodgy business and wouldn't recommend anyone to trust them. I took my puppy there a while ago for simple skin problem and they kept suggesting extra medicines and unnecessary products to make more money and they sold me 3 different medications for solid price of $36 each and when I went home and google it I realized the costs of those medications were only between $3 to $9 and they charged me 4 times more than the original price by manipulating an emotional and worried pet owner. I end up going back to return one of the medications and they refuse to give me prescription unless I pay $25 for it which was not mentioned before and anyone would assume the prescription should be a part of the consultation price and not on top of it. Our two dogs have been looked after by Meredith and her team since they were little puppies first attending preschool. Every member of the team is caring, gentle and extremely professional. We always feel welcome and well looked after when we arrive. The vets always go above the call of duty following up, researching and providing the best and latest treatments. Our big German Shepherd would have wasted away at a very early age if Leonie hadn't diagnosed Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI). She is now 8 €fit, healthy and energetic with many happy years to come. Absolutely love these guys - couldn't recommend them more highly. Read Less

I have been taking my dog here for 5 years since she was a puppy. We went to puppy school and had her spayded there as well as all her yearly vaccines. She has had a few emergency visits along the way(like swallowing watches and eating other garbage items) but thankfully she recovered from all of them, thanks to the wonderful staff at the vet. I have found them to be very friendly and caring as well as reasonably priced. I would not take my dog anywhere else. Thanks for all the hard work guys.....you deserve a medal. Read Less

Definitely a 5 star experience. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Recently I had to have my geriatric cat put down due to kidney failure and Dr Kate was so lovely. She even sent me a pot plant afterward to help with my grief. My 2 dogs love going to Wilston Vet- Every vet there is caring, kind and knowledgeable. The nurses, especially Nurse Erica, have been terrific with both my dogs. Erica is the one who usually baths them for me. They always get a liver treat and sometimes even a pigs ear from her! My dog had to have bladder stones removed last year and Dr Leonie did the surgery- Everything went well thanks to her expertise. She recovered very quickly but now has to be on a special diet for life so I am in there all the time buying the food and the receptionist is always so friendly and helpful. Can thoroughly recommend this vet to anyone who wants a caring, kind and warm clinic to go to with their beloved pets. Read Less

Would not take my pets anywhere else! - By absolute chance after a freak event our family dog ended up at Wilson Vet. I highly recommend using Dr Leonie and her incredible team. I can honestly say that I could not be more glad to have had Dr Leonie and her team there for my dog in a horrible event that occurred. In high pressure situations it's hard to think clearly especially when making life changing desissions. I felt that everything was explained clearly so I fully understood what was happening, the advice that was given was completely professional and in the best interest of my dog and the respect and understanding by all staff members for the particular situation was amazing. By far and away, the best vet we've been to. The staff are very compassionate and caring and love what they do. Our dog has had several visits here and he is always very well looked after and in good hands. Our cat also stays here on holidays which is a bonus to have such great cat facilities so close by. Took our dog to see the team at Wilston Vet for an eye infection, the vet Kate was amazing, and staff were lovely :) They didn't just hand out eye drops and send you on your way, he was fully examined, checked his lymph nodes, ear canals, his coat and skin and ensured he didn't have any damage to the back of his eye. With my new puppy arriving, I was in search of a local vet. After doing some research on the internet and visiting a number of places, Wilston Vet, by far stood out. Their prices are competitive with others however the warm smiles you get in entering their nice clean shop, you know that this is more than a vet surgery, its a community of pet lovers and professionals. The friendly staff went out of their way to explain to me all the health requirements needed for my new puppy without any expectation of joining. This was also reinforced a week later when I dropped past and the friendly staff provided me with some well needed answers and relief prior to picking up my puppy.I have since selected Wilston Vet as my vet for my puppy, Napoleon and have loved coming in for our check-ups and vaccinations. I found this vet very expensive and also very focused on pushing product. The puppy pre-school was not good and I had a giant dog jump up and paw at my small breed dog. Please go to a proper positive reinforcement trainer for your puppy training and don't go here. Read Less

The team at Wilston Vet consistently go absolutely above and beyond to make sure my kitties are happy and healthy.I have been taking my two cats here for a few years now, and never have I been so pleased with how a vet has treated my animals. In all the years and the various dogs I've owned I have never come across a vet that my dog 'wants' to go in to. Until I found Wilston Vet. Instead of the usual cajoling and dragging while they put the brakes on, my dog is busting to get inside! Once in she is always warmly greeted like an old pal by the front staff -sometimes even given a little treat much to our delight! This veterinary practice feels so caring and inviting I'm sure any anxiety the owners or pets could possibly feel, disappears immediately. In the past I have bought a dog in after being mauled and although it was a very touch or go situation, in the expert care of Dr Meredith the  difficult surgery was a success and my faithful boy made a full recovery. He was cared for expertly through out his whole life by Wilston Vet and they were marvellous and compassionate till the end.  Happily my new pup is also under their expert care. I always feel I can be guided by them in any situation with any advice needed.I have recommended Wilston Vet to friends in the past who have remarked how much they like it there too.
