I took my border collie cross Kelpie here a couple of months ago cause she was having bladder problems and it had been going on for months now and the vet gave me some antibiotics for it, I then took her to thornlands vet and they did further testing as they should’ve done at this clinic and they found out she had kidney and renal failure which then resulted in it being too late to the point where she lost all her weight, stopped eating and drinking and went downhill very fast to the point where there was nothing that could be done for her that she had to be put down last week, this vet is better more small checkups not major tasks, I’m very upset the vet didn’t look into her condition since it had been going on for months and giving me antibiotics I knew wouldn’t do much for her...... I have two little dogs and was told that they both needed teeth out. I was quoted $2000 and was told that my dog was in pain. I was horrified, but did not have a spare $2K hanging around. I decided to call around to see if I could do better. I spoke with Jenny from the vet and she asked me to bring them down. One dog needed no work and the other needed a scale and clean and an extraction from the bottom ( I was told a top tooth was giving her problems)......... After a day in hospital I picked my dog up and the bill was less than $600 including painkillers and antibiotics. My little dog bounced back the next day and is really happy. I took her back for a check up a week late - FREE of charge........ I cannot recommend Jenny and this practice enough. Hi Dr Jenny, Dr Cindy, Wendy & other carers, Our dearest and old best mate the Jack Dog passed away on Saturday night. Jack was the best dog anyone could ask for. We don't think you could have found a better dog. Jack made it to the grand age of 15yrs 4months. Not a bad innings for a big dog. As our beautiful little Eli said Sunday morning when we were moving Jack, "Shhh! Jack's sleeping. We have to be quite." Rest in peace big boy. You are now with your little mate Sebastian, where you can both wrestle together again. Jack is now resting with his little mate Sebastian in the back yard. We have to buy some plants to plant over the top of him just as another reminder of our mate. Thank you everyone who has helped care for Jack over the last 6years. He loved his visits to the vet.
