The clinic and every vet who works there have treated my boys like they are their own, especially Dr Bob. I can not say enough about the service which includes the receptionist, always friendly and helpful. Even after moving away I continued to take my 2 dogs there. Thank you for making many illnesses/visits as the boys have got older and finally the loss of Peanut more bearable with your kindness and genuine empathy.

Staff for many years and have always had a professional experience and reasonable rate .Tom was called to my 14 year old German Sheppard witch hat become extremely unwell ,he was there to my home immediately and took great care in helping him Passover and totally understood the devastation that is caused when the decision has to be made .Toms professionalism and compassion is second to none great vets

I had a young cat Chloe who was attacked by a dog, Wynnum Manly Veterinary Hospital had no choice but to amputate the leg. Unfortunately our dear little Chloe didn't make it through the night. She received the best care and so did i when it came to payment. To my surprise my bill was reduced dramatically which is something i would never had expected. I would highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital.

After being loyal customers of Wynnum Manly Veterinary Hospital, I am shocked at how misleading they were to my family and I. They cruelly installed false hope and did not properly inform us of treatments for our dog, leaving out important information such as major disadvantages/side effects and failed to inform us of survival rates after treatments. In doing this they lead us to believe that surgery was the best option. Unfortunately, I learned too late, that it was not.
They knowingly put our beautiful boy through a surgery that would do little to improve his quality of life and lead to unnecessary pain both immediately after surgery and for the short amount of time he had left prior.
They did this because they wanted the money. I bet your wondering how I know this? Well, a month after surgery our dog started getting sick again. We took him back to the vets and yet again, they pushed for another pricey surgery (knowing he had little time left, yet making us believe he would live for years more - especially if we put him through another greweling treatment.) They also lead us to believe his prior illness had nothing to do with what was happening to him this second time around. However, after seeking second and third opinions, we learned that this was not the case. Instead of helping us do what was right for our dog, they misguided us into paying thousands to do quite the opposite.
There is not one day that goes by that I don't blame myself for taking our loving and loyal dog to this Wynnum Manly Veterinary Hospital. If I had taken him elsewhere, he wouldn't have suffered the way he did. Unfortunately I believed that the higher priced veterinary hospitals would insure better quality and care my dog. This is not the case, there are far better veterinary hospitals out there that don't cost an arm and a leg for something as simple as a check up.
I would never recommend Wynnum Manly Veterinary Hospital after my experience! If you do go to this place, please look out for misleading information and don't be afraid to seek out second. third or even fourth opinions from other vets or better yet, find another veterinary hospital.
P.S. I had been debating for sometime whether or not to post this, but in the end I decided I would do anything in my power to insure other dogs wouldn't suffer in the same way.

I have the utmost respect and confidence in this vet surgery, the vets and the vet staff. During the last years of my beloved cat's life, everyone at the surgery became my night time family :). Treatments were administered with care, empathy and compassion - and she thrived under their care. A couple of times it really took "out of the box" thinking to find what was causing her ailments - and every time, they found the cause and treated it. My next lovely fluffy came from this vet surgery after she was found abandoned at a house in Wynnum... she is much loved and pampered now and we are always greeted with smiles and interest. I cannot speak highly enough of these guys and girls.

After waiting for 45 mins and still no apologies I walked out cancelling my appointment. I definitely won't go there again. If that's how they treat their customers infront of their faces... how are they treating the animals behind closed doors.

I've lived in two countries with my 12 year old dog and been to dozens and dozens of vets over the years. Dr Bob is literally the best Vet we have ever been to. He is a very kind and caring vet. Not to say most vets are of a kind nature as you have to be to be in this field, but you really feel it when dealing with Dr Bob. The staff, are also very kind and helpful. I'm very grateful for Dr Bob and the Wynnum Manly Vet staff. I have been to all the other vets in the surrounding area and he is the best. I cannot thank these people enough. Highly recommended!

The vets and staff here are really friendly and have helped us out many a time when our pets have had an ailment. The prices aren't drastically cheaper than anywhere else around but they're pretty good. I couldn't afford to take my pregnant dog to the vet for delivery of thr pups, nor did I want to, but the vet I saw at the check-up was excellent and gave me reams of printed material about what to expect and how it all should go. It all went really well, thankfully, but it was comforting to know that the WMVH was only a call away.

She received the best care and so did i when it came to payment. To my surprise my bill was reduced dramatically which is something i would never had expected. After being loyal customers of Wynnum Manly Veterinary Hospital, I am shocked at how misleading they were to my family and I. They cruelly installed false hope and did not properly inform us of treatments for our dog, leaving out important information such as major disadvantages/side effects and failed to inform us of survival rates after treatments. In doing this they lead us to believe that surgery was the best option. Unfortunately, I learned too late, that it was not.
They knowingly put our beautiful boy through a surgery that would do little to improve his quality of life and lead to unnecessary pain both immediately after surgery and for the short amount of time he had left prior.
They did this because they wanted the money. I bet your wondering how I know this? Well, a month after surgery our dog started getting sick again. We took him back to the vets and yet again, they pushed for another pricey surgery (knowing he had little time left, yet making us believe he would live for years more - especially if we put him through another greweling treatment.) They also lead us to believe his prior illness had nothing to do with what was happening to him this second time around. However, after seeking second and third opinions, we learned that this was not the case. Instead of helping us do what was right for our dog, they misguided us into paying thousands to do quite the opposite.
There is not one day that goes by that I don't blame myself for taking our loving and loyal dog to this Wynnum Manly Veterinary Hospital. If I had taken him elsewhere, he wouldn't have suffered the way he did. Unfortunately I believed that the higher priced veterinary hospitals would insure better quality and care my dog. This is not the case, there are far better veterinary hospitals out there that don't cost an arm and a leg for something as simple as a check up.
I would never recommend Wynnum Manly Veterinary Hospital after my experience! If you do go to this place, please look out for misleading information and don't be afraid to seek out second. third or even fourth opinions from other vets or better yet, find another veterinary hospital.
P.S. I had been debating for sometime whether or not to post this, but in the end I decided I would do anything in my power to insure other dogs wouldn't suffer in the same way.

I have the utmost respect and confidence in this vet surgery, the vets and the vet staff. During the last years of my beloved cat's life, everyone at the surgery became my night time family :). Treatments were administered with care, empathy and compassion - and she thrived under their care. A couple of times it really took "out of the box" thinking to find what was causing her ailments - and every time, they found the cause and treated it. My next lovely fluffy came from this vet surgery after she was found abandoned at a house in Wynnum... she is much loved and pampered now and we are always greeted with smiles and interest. I cannot speak highly enough of these guys and girls.

After waiting for 45 mins and still no apologies I walked out cancelling my appointment. I definitely won't go there again. If that's how they treat their customers infront of their faces... how are they treating the animals behind closed doors.

All the vets, all the nurses - everyone is so caring, patient, friendly, happy and funny - and above all they give 100% care, attention and effort in treating my"kids" to keep them in top health. The support, love and compassion that was given to me it was Maddie's time was above and beyond anything I could have ever wished for. Thank you. I've lived in two countries with my 12 year old dog and been to dozens and dozens of vets over the years. Dr Bob is literally the best Vet we have ever been to. He is a very kind and caring vet. Not to say most vets are of a kind nature as you have to be to be in this field, but you really feel it when dealing with Dr Bob. The staff, are also very kind and helpful. I'm very grateful for Dr Bob and the Wynnum Manly Vet staff. I have been to all the other vets in the surrounding area and he is the best. I cannot thank these people enough. Highly recommended!

The vets and staff here are really friendly and have helped us out many a time when our pets have had an ailment. The prices aren't drastically cheaper than anywhere else around but they're pretty good. I couldn't afford to take my pregnant dog to the vet for delivery of thr pups, nor did I want to, but the vet I saw at the check-up was excellent and gave me reams of printed material about what to expect and how it all should go. It all went really well, thankfully, but it was comforting to know that the WMVH was only a call away.
