On day of my dogs operation price quoted during consult jumped up by $200. Walked out and they lost me as a customer. Went to Bird & Smith myVET and the total bill was less than half - very impresse...

I always take my dogs here for their checkups and they are treated very well. Also the last couple of times my dogs have needed urgent trips to the vet they have been able to see us very promptly meaning my dogs aren't left waiting in pain or sick. I think their prices are quite reasonable too.

We have been using this clinic for well over 10 years. In that time we have had Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and Birds all whom have been treated at some stage or other. The staff here are among the most compassionate and caring professionals that I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. This is a veterinary clinic that puts the care of the animal above all else. Despite their superior service prices are surprisingly reasonable. I would'nt have my animals treated by anyone else

Horrible. I went to this vet on a recommendation with my very dear, elderly cat who was dying. The vet we saw was good but I was extremely disappointed with the vet assistants. I am a disability pensioner and asked if the assistant sitting behind the counter (doing nothing) would be kind enough to call me a taxi. "You want me to do what!?" she replied in a nasty tone. She was very tight-lipped and angry when I tried offering money was having none of it dealt with me in complete silence before walking off. I left this clinic feeling as though I was treated like a second-class citizen and will never be returning here again.

Went here to get my cat desexed after a recommendation. My cat is now sore down there, aggressive and in pain weeks later. It got to a point where I got really worried so asked for a check up which I was told prior to arrival was free to check the wound,temperature and surrounding area. The staff kept referring to my male cat as female and the vet didnt visually examine the wound until after I picked up my cat and forced him. The vet said it was everything (cat fight(never been in one) cystitus, bowel issues) but not desexing -even though its the wound that is causing my cat issues and he could visually see my super scared cat wince while being examined. Was told he would be given painkillers and anti-inflammatory medicatiob then charged a $70 consultation fee+medication fees. Staff were rude and bullying. I Will Never go back here. They cant tell the difference between a male and a female cat and that really scares me.

I have a boy cat , found by my daughter, hungry and wanting a home. So he needed desexing and some flea treatment etc. Took him here and they did a wonderful job at a reasonable price. Real genuine service and caring for this darling, sweet cat. So we add to the family of numerous cats, two dogs and two (boy) guinea pigs. All this will leave this vet practice with plenty of business for years to come.

We have been using this clinic for well over 10 years. In that time we have had Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and Birds all whom have been treated at some stage or other.
