Thank you for looking after my 17-year-old cat 'Hobbes' in your cattery over the Easter break! The staff were so efficient in helping me organise his vaccinations, worming and treatments and your high-quality service was so affordable! With Hobbes being an older cat and never been in a cattery before, I was quite apprehensive as to how he would cope and like most pet owners, I wanted reassurance that he was in good hands whilst I was away. When I picked him up, he was so relaxed and purr'd in my arms the whole drive home! His coat was beautiful, he obviously had been brushed everyday and he appeared well-fed! From start to finish you showed great care and I love that the staff openly showed love toward Hobbes! So appreciated. Best vet surgery and team ever !!! Dr Chris and his team have been looking after our dogs for just under 10 years now, from puppy preschool to senior dogs they have been so wonderful and caring, we have followed every bit of their advice and our furry family have always been healthy and happy. Recently Poppy developed a rare cancer and has now passed away, we were inconsolable but comforted by how caring the team at Pet Universe were especially Dr Chris who took the time to call recently and see how we were doing and even sent flowers. We started to visit pet universe at the start of this year when our dog tore her ACL in one of her legs. The operation they performed to fix it was absolutely remarkable and she was back to her normal self faster than we ever could have imagined. The staff at pet universe treat your pet like they are their own and that's why we went back 6 months later when the other ACL tore as well!! My cat Missy recently stayed here for 12 days. In my opinion she received excellent care and was very well looked after. I was apprehensive about whether or not she would get brushed (based purely on other boarding experiences at different catteries). When I seen Missy she looked bright eyed and bushy tailed and certainly felt like she was brushed everyday. She was as well looked after in that time as I would have looked after her myself in my opinion. I was very impressed. They also gave me her toilet, food and behavioral habits in the time I was gone. Which was refreshing to hear, as she is normally handed back to me at other places and that is it. The place seemed very clean and the staff where friendly and experienced. We have attended Pet Universe for 10 years with our dogs. Unfortunately one died suddenly when he was only six (the support we received at this time was exceptional); the other is nearly 15 and 'visits' each month for her grooming. Chris Lee (Vet) has explained all treatments and costs before any treatments over the years and spent time answering any and all our questions before we made informed decisions on treatment. All vets we have seen at both clinics have shown the same respect for us and our pets. Nursing and Grooming staff show care and affection to our pets and instead of them feeling nervous and frightened when visiting a Vet, look forward to the experience.
