I went back to modbury vet with my cat billy who started going there 5 years prior and we were happy. We had to move. I thought I'd go back to modbury vet so I did and saw dr teagan hadley, I did not like her demeanour the moment I stepped in room, she seemed very short with me and seemed to be asking me things like what has billy previous dosages of prednisolone, things that I thought she should've decided on examining and looking at billy first to be able to know right answer to, rather than asking me, im not vet for 1. I wont be going back.

We are so grateful to the staff at Modbury Vet Clinic for the amazing care they provided to our much loved Indi and ourselves over the past years we have been using the clinic. By far the best we have been to and the time the staff are prepared to give in providing as much information as possible to assist with decision making was greatly appreciated.
A big thank you to all the wonderful staff who were with us during the sad passing of Indi.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with this Horrible Horrible Vet Clinic!
Their Dr Sebastians INCOMPETENCE and Inability to even Listen to the owner about their pets habits...Nearly cost my Gorgeous Bird, his Life!!! This JOKER...Straight Out REFUSED to acknowledge the OBVIOUS!!! ANY Animal that is constantly Vomiting AND has Diarrhoea...it is OBVIOUS...the VERY 1ST thing you check for is an Obstruction caused by ingesting a foreign object!!
This JOKER treated my bird...3 times REFUSING to accept what I said (@ Every Visit) that it Might be an obstruction, explaining to Dr Sebastian Stachurski, that part of his Rope Toy was Chewed off & missing!
By That time...my bird had gone from 80+gms...to a mere 53gms!! At which point his ONLY Other option was..."if he hasn't improved by the end of the weekend, call Me I'll give you a Referral to Exotic Pets Vet at RICHMOND,(a Direct Quote)! Even though Richmond Do NOT NEED, OR REQUIRE a Referral (probably a Kickback/spotters Fee of some kind) Instead...I TOOK him to a REAL Vet @ Dernancourt...they diagnosed an obstruction in his crop(stomach) and within MINUTES...my poor bird was undergoing EMERGENCY LIFE SAVING SURGERY!!! The obstruction, Itself, which WAS the chewed & missing rope-toy that I Suggested it might be...weighed a Whopping 5gms, Meaning MY poor birds weight went down HALF his original weight, whilst in the care of these Horrible People @ MODBURY Vet Clinic!! The obstruction was EXACTLY what I Suggested to Dr Sebastian Stachurski @ Modbury, who are So Egotistical they (a) would NOT listen, (b) Genuinely do NOT CARE about Your pet & (c) Are only Concerned with how much MONEY they can make off That pet!!!!!
So...fellow pet-lovers...IF You think something is OFF with your pet and the vet doesn't listen to the 1 person who KNOWS your pet best (YOU)...Walk Straight Out, coz It's Obvious...they're ALL About the Money and ONLY...THE MONEY!!!!!
IF You...Value your Pets Life...do NOT...EVER take your animal Here for treatment...Unless You Have Every Intention of walking out of Modbury Vet Clinic with Only a BOX OF ASHES!!!

Absolutely disgusted with this vet. My very minimal English speaking mother took her dog in, asked for scripts for the medication and was told she couldn’t get it from a pharmacy even though it was the same medication as in the past and has been bought from a pharmacy. Was charged $86 for something that is $6 at a pharmacy, plus blatantly taken advantage of and lied to. Then charged $35 for 1 worming tablet where you can buy the whole 3 months for $60, and 6 months for $90! Clearly this vet does not have an ethical moral nor the clients best interest at heart.

was denied because i didn't have a prescription (never needed one at any of the other vets i've dropped into to get food, because no one would buy urinary food for a pet without a diagnosed condition)
THEN i was told he would be fine on canned food from the shops until the food i ordered came, so instead of just giving me piece of mind that my cat had his food and i wouldn't be putting him at risk of a urinary blockage, they would rather i buy some whiskers.
Won't be taking my cat or dog here, rude as vet nurse.

We have been going here for ages, the vets are nice but the groomer is absolutely horrible. Just wanted a scissor trim on our dog. Was told that she would not do it, as she did not do scissor cutting and preceded to argue with me in front of customers and other staff. She embarrassed me and was obnoxious and rude I will never go there again for the vet or groomer. It's a shame businesses feel they can treat customers this way and don't care when they loose them.

We are weekly visitors at the moment and Charlie Brown and I are always greeted by the ever-friendly staff, and the vets are always great with my dog. As a first time pet owner, I always have a lot of questions and all of the vets and nurses have been more than happy to answer them and make suggestions. Today, I took my dog in with grass seeds in his feet and the wonderful staff stayed behind to remove them under anaesthetic and for a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

My female American Bulldog is pretty dominant with other dogs. She got out of her enclosure and my male bit her through the fence. He cut her from lip to nose and the time for me to get her to the modbury clinic (after being advised by another vet to wait for a few days for the swelling to go down before surgery) she had a massive and very aggressive infection spread through her lip, mouth, nose and jaw. She had not many chances to survive and if so chances were that the stitches wouldn't last. But the vet at this clinic did her very best to clean everything up. She actually spent hours on it. And I am happy to say my girl made a full recovery and only thanks to that awesome vet.

would give 0 stars if i could, went in to just buy a can of prescription food to tide my cat over as i am new to the area and typically buy my cats food online (for convenience)
was denied because i didn't have a prescription (never needed one at any of the other vets i've dropped into to get food, because no one would buy urinary food for a pet without a diagnosed condition)
THEN i was told he would be fine on canned food from the shops until the food i ordered came, so instead of just giving me piece of mind that my cat had his food and i wouldn't be putting him at risk of a urinary blockage, they would rather i buy some whiskers.
Won't be taking my cat or dog here, rude as vet nurse.

Many thanks for the wonderful treatment my beautiful cat Rosie received over the last 16 years. A special thank you to Dr Chelsea and Caitlyn for the compassion and care you showed on Monday when I sadly had to say goodbye to my very much loved companion. Receiving your card today brought a few tears but was a lovely gesture.

We have been going here for ages, the vets are nice but the groomer is absolutely horrible. Just wanted a scissor trim on our dog. Was told that she would not do it, as she did not do scissor cutting and preceded to argue with me in front of customers and other staff. She embarrassed me and was obnoxious and rude I will never go there again for the vet or groomer. It's a shame businesses feel they can treat customers this way and don't care when they loose them.

We are weekly visitors at the moment and Charlie Brown and I are always greeted by the ever-friendly staff, and the vets are always great with my dog. As a first time pet owner, I always have a lot of questions and all of the vets and nurses have been more than happy to answer them and make suggestions. Today, I took my dog in with grass seeds in his feet and the wonderful staff stayed behind to remove them under anaesthetic and for a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

My female American Bulldog is pretty dominant with other dogs. She got out of her enclosure and my male bit her through the fence. He cut her from lip to nose and the time for me to get her to the modbury clinic (after being advised by another vet to wait for a few days for the swelling to go down before surgery) she had a massive and very aggressive infection spread through her lip, mouth, nose and jaw. She had not many chances to survive and if so chances were that the stitches wouldn't last. But the vet at this clinic did her very best to clean everything up. She actually spent hours on it. And I am happy to say my girl made a full recovery and only thanks to that awesome vet.

Whenever I need to book in they will always go above and beyond to make sure I can get in and get the best care for my beautiful kitten!! Will keep going back and will take future pets here too!!!
