Our regular vet for nearly 6 years. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Gracie loves all the vets, especially Kylie, and vet nurses.

My dog Lola has allergies. This is NEVER an easy thing for an owner, let alone a first dog owner. After enduring numerous vet visits at 4 other practices around Adelaide, and being dissatisfied with the service and outcome, I hit the Internet. Four Paws Unley was one of the first results, so that it was! It was well worth the wait (of discovery). VERY CONTENT with the thorough assistance I've received. Follow up phone calls and texts prove the professional nature of this practice. Not once have I been rushed through an appointment, and as far as pricing goes, you won't find much more reasonable than this. The FREE CONSULT if nothing is found to be wrong is very comforting. After moving to Adelaide my main concern (as always) was finding a good Vets.   And I have succeeded completely in finding Unley Veterinary Surgery.Their kindness towards my two boys, who had to be assisted across the Bridge, went above and beyond the 'call of duty'.  They made, what is for all animal lovers, a very, very hard time so much easier by their loving care and professional attitude. And with my youngster, they're just amazing!   They treat her as if she's the only youngster visiting them.  So much so, that on her last visit (for her injections) she RAN to get inside, with me being dragged along behind, burst into the reception area, I couldn't hold on any longer, and did two zoomies around same before plonking her furry butt in front of the two nurses for a treat!   My dogs have all loved their Vets, but this was beyond anything I've ever seen before.   I think that really does say it all as to just how wonderful my Vet and the nurses are, when your dog actually runs to get inside!   And no, she doesn't normally pull on her lead.I can highly recommend Unley Vets to any one.  And, if you've got a Senior, then they'll happily provide a Senior Check, free of charge! And one last word, they always include you, never make you feel an outsider.  They're just the very best!!!! Pet Pampering! Not many businesses in the service industry are fee free for no service however my outstanding local vet is. However  I guess if you're at the vet with your adorable pet you are most likely in need of some professional assistance! We have been frequenting Unley Vet for many years with an assortment of dogs and cats in their latter years and all the vets there have been absolutely invaluable and supportive in their care and advice. They truly love animals and treat yours as if they are the most gorgeous and beautiful in the world (which of course they are)! Our current cat was a foundling abandoned on their doorstep at 2 weeks old who they hand reared and named until we could take him home so Unley Veterinary Surgery holds a special place in our hearts however I can unbiasedly endorse their professional approach and care. And if you're looking for a general check-up for your special pooch or feline and they are in tip top shape there is no charge!! A bonus just to know they are A-ok! Read Less

Pets are like children. No...seriously....As a young cat lady, dog lady, budgie lady and fish lady growing up I went through many a vet clinic with one or multiple pets. But like a good doctor, you end up finding a favourite and sticking with them. Unley Vet is such a place. As my childhood friends (and pseudo brothers and sisters to said only child) began to get a lot older and more decrepid, we would rely on the caring and loving nature of the local female vets at this clinic. They would always provide a range of care options and were so knowledgeable about everything that was going on with our (what felt like) 100 year old cats and dogs that we knew we could trust leaving them over night or staying there in their care.Fast forward 12 years on and there was no question where I would take my little baby (kitten) for his first vaccinations and care. The service is still just as friendly, they get excited by your pet's name, let alone their personality, and have even sent us additional "your first kitten" information since we went there.Prices are reasonable and advice is non-bias and brief but they always have time for you to answer more questions or are happy to send out more information. If only Dr Harry or the Bondi Vet worked here...
