A huge thank you to the staff at North Hobart Vet Hospital and AHVEC for the incredible care you've given Frankie over the past few weeks. We nearly lost our girl when she became gravely ill with a ruptured gall bladder and needed emergency surgery, performed by the incredible Chris Allfree. After a long recovery, she is finally out of the woods and home again with her sister. The attentiveness and compassion of every vet and vet nurse blew us away. Frankie was so well looked after that despite such a traumatising ordeal, she still gets excited when we go to the vetRead Less

Im so very grateful for having sebastion as our vet! North hobart veterinary hospital are absolutely brilliant! The women that work on the front counter expecially janine, always had the time of day to talk to myself and my partner. My dog buster was diagnosed with mast cell tumors and had these for 5 years, they were always grade 1. After him being seen to his whole life and having surgeries to remove the mast cell tumors by "another vet" they found one in his mouth that was apparently going to kill him and he had 4 weeks to live. We didn't want to give up on him! Thats when we were told about sebastion (being the best surgeon in hobart) they were right! After lots of treatment, lots of surgeries to remove the "on the skin" tumors , lots of meds. We found out 3 months ago it had progressed to grade 3 cancer. There was nothing we could do except chemotherapy. He was on chemo for 3 months and sadly we had to to let buster go on monday as he was slowly dying and wasn't good old buster we all knew and loved. We have been absolutely heart broken by busters passing but we are forever grateful to the whole team at hobart vet for all of their help and understanding. We thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!Read Less
