Katia [excuse if spelling is incorrect] is one of the kindest and most professional vets I've ever met in over 50 years of having animals in our family. Her knowledge is excellent and she really cares about the best outcome for your furry family member.
The person who wrote a negative review about euthanasia has either got the wrong vet or is an internet troll.
It is really beautiful to watch my cats and dogs relate to her and vice versa.
I feel confident that the advice given is always in the best interest of both my pet and me.
The only challenging aspect is that the clinic is open Mon Wed and Fri so you will need a backup vet if anything happens out of or after those hours. Then I would recommend Sally-Anne Richter at Mowbray Vet or Paul Switkowski Invermay Rd Invermay.

I called to get information on euthanasing my 16 year old companion. I said I had a couple of questions regarding the process if you have a moment. I Was given the chance to ask about cremation and then asked what drugs would be used for sedation. I was hung up on. Possibly cut off. After calling back I was told, "I don't know what the drugs are but we're euthanasing the dog, what does it matter".

DISCUSTING! Not my regular vet. Today I phoned because my one year old retriever could not walk on her paw. I phoned St Leonards Veternary clinic and as I started to explain the woman on the phone interrupted and said "I need to stop you right there before you go on, we wont see you until next week!". Unbelievabley blunt, rude and unpleasant! Blatant disregard of compassion, she could have at least let me finish my sentence. I am dumb founded. If they are too busy to even listen to a phone call properly I would never leave my pet to be in their care! Luckily I phoned another vet afterwards, who told us to come in within the hour!

She is the best vet in town and I just love the way she befriends her patients, and creates a personal relationship with them before she starts working with them! My dog would pull me out of the car to get into St Leonards Veterinary Clinic.... then whimper outside in anticipation if Kasia couldnt take him in straight away. DISCUSTING! Not my regular vet. Today I phoned because my one year old retriever could not walk on her paw.
