General Info
Mayfair Veterinary Clinic is a clinic catering to small animals. We treat cats and dogs, and have a special interest in birds, reptiles, rodents and exotic pets. We also care for wildlife and are always happy to receive any orphaned or injured wildlife brought in to us by the public.
At Mayfair Veterinary Clinic, we understand that your pet is a part of your family, and as such, we want to know about you to help us understand where your companion animal/s fit into your family. Being a two practitioner practice, we strive to foster a relationship between veterinarian and client, and if possible encourage follow-up consults to be carried out with the same veterinarian. Clients are encouraged to bring their children to consults to be a part of their pet's health program too. We provide free consults for classroom animals and aged-care facilities to help facilitate the development and maintenance of the human animal bond.
The clinic stocks a range of parasite control medications, foods, shampoos and ear and teeth cleaning products. Our staff are happy to help advise you in selecting the products needed to meet your pet's needs. We stock Hill's and Advance food for cats and dogs and can also place special orders for Eukanuba and Royal Canin.
As a new client, please arrive 10 minutes before your consult to allow time to fill out our new client registration forms. The information on both you, your family and animal/s will be helpful to us in our effort to provide you with the professional service you desire.

Mayfair are always my go to vet for my birds. When ever someone asks where to take their bird Dr James is my first reccomendation. It was wonderful to be offered a lovely budgie to rehome after no owner came forward for her, staff remembered i had lost many of my own budgie months earlier. Wonderful, caring staff

We highly regard Dr. James Harriss and his team.. Though we have only ever had the need to visit James on 3 occasions with birdy problems, we have found James along with Heidi and the rest of the staff to be extremely helpful, caring and knowledgeable. James is a fantastic vet, he is so thorough and caring, taking time out to phone on his days off, and showing genuine interest in your birds..Just wish you guys were closer so we could bring our 10 cats to you :)

We have been taking our animals to James for about 6 years. He is a lovely man with a kind heart, his knowledge with pets of all types is brilliant. I first met James with a sick Tiger Oscar tropical fish, the fish was around 8 years old and 10 inches. Since then we have been taking our two Jack Russell's in since. Yesterday Max, Jack Russell #1 had hurt his back. We took him to Thalia and James and gave a quick diagnosis and medication. Thanks.

I always recommend Mayfair Vet clinic. Dr James Harris is fantastic with all my pets and is very reasonably priced. I found Mayfair when my daughters rabbit was sick and my local vet was unable to help. I now travel 30 minutes to take all my pets to see James!

I always recommend Mayfair Vet clinic. Dr James Harris is fantastic with all my pets and is very reasonably priced. I found Mayfair when my daughters rabbit was sick and my local vet was unable to help. I now travel 30 minutes to take all my pets to see James!
