Our dog just had a TLPO surgery done at AMC Boronia. We were drawn to this centre based on reviews of other clients and lower prices in comparison to few other clinics. Nurses and the doctor were great throughout the process-friendly and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions in detail. They made us feel reassured and stayed in contact after the procedure. Been here a few times with our cats Jas, while often in a hurry is straight to the point and on one occasion saved a kitten we had which we were sure would at least lose a leg if not have to be put down Is a little pricey for some of the meds etc however I have no issue with this at all given I am not being told I need things I dont need Opening hours are also very convenient Read Less

My dog was limping so took her here for the first time, the vet said she had a damaged ligament and would need surgery, I took her for a second opinion at a vet we'd been to before but a lot further away, they looked at her, said no, definitely no ligament damage, most likely bone cancer, took an x ray and confirmed that she had severe bone cancer, lucky I didn't go with this vet and put her through unnecessary surgery. Jas and all staff are the most helpful and pleasant people to deal with , I would totally recommend this vet clinic to everybody. Soon as you walk in they are so helpful and make everything so easy , we have two dogs that will always go to jas as he is the best vet I have ever dealt with in almost 40 years and explains things in English so you totally understand what is happening . My 2 year old lab had a ruptured cruciate ligament in Feb . I went for 3 consults and had about 4 other emails from vets around me, I just couldn't afford their price , especially if I had to get the other leg done eventually. I found Animal Medical Centre in March & Dr Jas said I already waited too long & did the surgery the same day. It was noon when I visited . No skipping breakfast , fasting lab, none of it. I needed time to decide if this was it, so came back in an hour & he took her in for surgery . Next morning I went to collect her. He did a great job with the leg. We are at week 8 now & my lab has to be stopped from running . We did have few issues with an external wound but i only have my dog to blame and my constant bandaging didn't help . He did say I should leave the wound open but I felt covering it would reduce her access to the leg . They also took calls in between when I needed advice & were lovely about it. But no issues with the surgery .Good service . Great Nurses. Read Less

Cannot thank AMC Boronia and Dr. Jas enough for treating our boy Buster in the middle of the night. My wife contacted Dr. Jas who answered immediately and ran over a few tests with us to ensure our boy was ok, Dr. Jas made his way down to the clinic to treat Buster very quickly. My doggy had Knee surgery (TPLO) few months ago at a very affordable price ($2000), surgery went successful, he is now running around . Unfortunately when we really needed Jazz for him to come out in the middle of the night he ignored our phone calls, so much for the 24 hours, until it was to late and our precious little girl suffered and died 26th August, even when he told us that day 25th August after picking her up from the vets to call if she goes down hill any more. Vet was polite but very blasé. Pointed out a concern which after visiting another vet the day after was told there is nothing to worry about at all. Could not link that a 6 month old kitten expressing signs of pain and constant scratching around head could be because of teething.Read Less
