Our dogs are always eager to go inside and see the attending vet. Every vet who has helped us with our dogs, and our cat, has shown genuine concern and compassion for the animals and for our peace of mind.We have attended this practice for over 17 years. When our beautiful Labrador, Nina, reached the age of 16 human years and was sadly not well, Dr Matt attended to her passing with the greatest compassion for her, and us.The same caring, compassion was also afforded us on the passing of our cat, Spock, The nurses are amazing when your animal needs to be in the hospital . They attend to the animals with the same love and care as the vets.The out of hours service at this practice has been invaluable for us in times of stress with a sick animal very late at night. It is very reassuring to know that help is always available at any time.Our new, exuberant Cavador regards Dr. Matt as his best friend. every time he sees him. We have been going to the Boronia Veterinary Clinic now for 15 years. The staff are always friendly & compassionate at all times which makes the visit an enjoyable one, especially when our beloved dogs aren't well. We have been seeing Dr Dan Tung for the last 12yrs and have complete faith in him as he is truly the most outstanding vet we have had for our family dogs over their lifetime. He is caring, loving, competent , clinically the BEST and brightest and goes beyond being a vet. Having recently moved we are visiting and interviewing vets because no one can measure up to the high standards of care we receive from Dan and the staff at Boronia Vet Clinic. We've decided we will travel the 2 hour drive to Boronia Vet simply because we feel peace of mind knowing they have our fury kids best interest at heart. Our dogs had medical issues necessitating advanced clinical services, surgery and diagnostic testing which Boronia Vet were more than capable in handling. Fantastic staff and usually don't need to wait long. Vets are very thorough. Long opening hours for appointments. Lots of parking and a little bit of grass for the dogs to visit before going in. Reminders are sent to remind you when vaccinations are due which is very convenient. Pricing is pretty standard. 'All' of the vets and staff are amazing here. I don't know how their prices compare to other places but I can say that I've been using them for over a decade and there's no price you can apply to how they treat all the animals there. There medical expertise is 100% and they treat the animals as if they were their own. My cat had a lump removed yesterday and the care my Bella got was exceptional. The 2 vets that I delt with were so good with her care and the updates on how she was going. Also only one month ago I had to put my beloved dog down and I was heartbroken, the care and compassion I received from the female vet I had was unbelievable. She was so good during the whole process and after the event. I was left to say goodbye to him and took as much time as I needed. After questionable advice from another local vet my family and I moved to this clinic, the former clinic had said my cat had almost nothing wrong with him ("95% lung capacity") but turned out all it took was one x-ray that showed he had late stages of Leukemia in his lungs. We had to let him cross over the rainbow bridge after trying cortisone medication that didn't have any effect.. needless to say they were very compassionate when we came in all in tears. The wait for the vet was tedious but understandable, they allowed us into the procedure room which was quiet and nice to say goodbye while we waited for the vet. Just yesterday my big kitty Phil was overcome with an unknown toxin. I phoned the vet and they immediately made room for us. The vet that looked after him was very good in communicating with me even after business hours to let me know his progress. We were still all worried because we didn't know what had made him so sick. They called me just after opening at 7.15 this morning to let me know he was all better and could come home! The only problems I had with this vet was not being able to contact them after business hours, as i didn't have any stationary with the number on it! I will be sure to grab one when I pick Phil up today. Thank you so much for making hard experiences easy in hindsight. Knowing there is somebody there 24/7 is also an amazing service and these people truly empathize with pet owners and understand how distressing it can all be.Read Less

My dog Max had liver problems for eight months and the care that he received at the beginning right through to the end of his life is something I'll always remember. They are so so caring for me and my cat!!! very kind and friendly people at the reception and all vets! I'm so grateful that they gave me lots of advice over the phone and in one case they worried about my cat's condition so they spent quite lot of time talking to me. today my cat didn't want to go into the cage so I had to drive him to the vet without cage. Both me and my cat felt so stressed. Ana the vet was so patient to bring me a cage and helped me get my cat out of my car and also helped me to work out a plan to put him back into the car after the appointment. Thank you to the team at Boronia Vet Clinic! My 10 year old fur-child...oops, I meant to say "cat".... was vomiting and dehydrated. The team worked quickly to administer fluids and began their diagnostics to determine what was wrong. They found an obstruction and were able to perform emergency surgery. My cat stayed there as an in-patient for a week, closely monitored by Dr Pey, Dr Phoebe, Dr Michelle and the team. I received daily phone calls every morning to update me on what was happening, and I was allowed in to come visit my cat every night after work. I had my cat of 20 years put down at this clinic, the vet that attended to him was sterile and cold, he made the whole situation worse than it was, he was rough with my boy, he didn't talk to him and made it a procedure, he wasn't comforting and It made me feel like I couldn't leave my cat there to be sent for cremation, I've had a cat put down before and I received a bereavement card and lots of support, but this was my cat that had been there for all of my three children and was our special boy, I will never go to this practice again and to this day I wish I had walked and and found a vet with humanity and compassion.. My beautiful much loved Staffy girl Steffy got really sick this week with a really badly infected uterus Boronia vet hospital were really fantastic they put her on a drip and gave her some heavy duty antibiotics and pain relief before removing the infected organs and spaying her She had the op Tuesday afternoon, was hoping to pick her up Wednesday but got a call from one of the treating vets to say she wasn't recovering at a normal expected rate and wasn't eating I went down to see her took her a roar chook and hand feed her improvement was slight and I was getting worried but the staff were really good and when I left late Wednesday night felt more positive The next morning I got a phone call from Matt one of the treating vets telling me she had made a real improvement over night and she was going to be ready to be picked up in the Evening I picked her up she looked really good she was eating and had made a somewhat remarkable turnaround Today Friday I took her to work with me rather than leave her at home by herself she is eating nearly normal and has spring back in her walk I want to thank ALL the staff at Boronia vet hospital for their treatment of my girl Chloe, Phoebe, Matt and the rest of the staff you are fabulous Cheers Grant ConnellRead Less
