Thanks to everyone at the West Brunswick Veterinary Clinic, especially Paul, Cameron and Nikki, he was prescribed special medicine that helped him become a healthy beautiful boy. When we found a cockatiel in our yard we had very limited knowledge of how to best care for him. After having him for only a few weeks we found our way to West Brunswick Veterinary Clinic - and to Avian veterinary nurse, Nikki Arkinstall. She taught us so much, guided us to become bird owners who understand more of the "whimsical" ways of cockatiels so that we could build a happy healthy relationship with Oscar. That was in 2009 - and we visit every year for Oscar's annual check. We are very grateful for all that Nikki has generously shared with us and that West Brunswick Vet Clinic runs a knowledgeable bird care program. What Nikki doesn't know about birds I don't reckon would be worth knowing. With Thanks and Appreciation. Read Less

I rescued a 2 week old kitten..malnourished..and my partner went to this vet at 4pm to get the correct food, while I nursed the baby. He explained the case, told the young girl the state of the kitten, she even guessed correctly at the kitten's weight of 200g... and my partner was sold a $45 bag of dried food, I rang the vet and spoke to the lady, again explaining the situation again...and was told to soak the pellets....The kitten would not touch it. The following day at Lort Smith, the vet there was shocked that someone would recommend this food.....totally wrong..not to mention the number of friends who told me this was the wrong stuff for a baby kitten..Silly me..I believed the vet in Brunswick! I took my Shar Pei here a few months ago for simple nail clip and have never been so angry leaving a vet. Despite me telling the staff who im unsure had any form of qualification that he was a calm boy and never bitten anyone, always gets his nails clipped with no struggle they insisted he be muzzled. I understand safety is a concern, however how about taking it from the person who has spent the dogs whole life with him. If my dog was a threat or danger to anybody, i'd do it myself. He's never been muzzled before until this & i have never seen my poor boy in so much stress and struggle ever. In addition, the male who insisted seemed to have a 'know it all' attitude about him and how i should worm treat him etc. Well, no sh*t genius! Sorry, i didn't know you knew my dog better than me?
