Took the Dog in - $270 for consult and drugs, was happy with that, since learned got ripped off there 2. They wanted over $2000 for surgery to close a wound up. Had to hassle them for a quote, and what came out was an estimate, no letter head, just a list of charges from min to max. Could of been from anyone. Called up, 36 hours later got a call back. lady didn't care. like she had heard it all before. not in a rude way but more she was use to hearing the response we had. ... went to another Vet they were more than $1500 cheaper. Wanted $2000+ for something Vet number 2 Charged $500. Crooks, thief's. Some people don't have access to this kind of money in a short space of time, They may have been forced to put themselves and their family in severe financial hardship at the hands of this company or face the death of their loved animal. Shame on you, get out the industry and go work somewhere else and stop exploiting peoples situation. I can only assume that these reviews get disputed and pulled down as there is no way i am the only one so don't listen to the BS response this review may get from the company, it's all designed to save face and continue robbing the consumer. 1 star is purely on the quote i received, the staff that we seen were as good as could be expected. Took the dog in and paid the Sunday fee and the additional for the drugs, all happy with that. However they then sent a quote for surgery and it was $2000. Went to Vet number 2 for a second opinion, $500, same surgery. Guess they weren't interested in doing it..... Read Less

If it wasn't for the Vet noticing, my poor little boys eye looked irritated, we would never have known he had an incredibly painful ulcer in his iris. could have sent him. blind!. A few days of antibiotics and all cleared up - THANKS! Read Less

The most amazing clinic!! We initially ended up at Dandenong Vet Hospital because our pup got himself into a bit of trouble and our vet wasn’t open 👎 (Big plus on the opening hours) Since then we’ve not been back to our old vet, who were very good, but this clinic is by far the best we’ve ever come across! Our experiences with the staff have always been exceptional, you can tell they are very passionate and they are so loving with our (not so) lil pup. If you want a clinic that will go above and beyond to make you and your pet happy and comfortable, Dandenong Vet is the place to go for sure. Read Less

Have taken my dog here since he was a pup, they are caring, very thorough and communicate very well. They also keep in touch to ensure your pet is always up to date with all vaccinations etc. which is extremely helpful.Read Less

Only vet i will use... When I had my dog put down years ago and I was just heartbroken, they took the time to get a paw print and then made a memory box for me and brought it to my house.. That alone just made my day even thou I cried lol The staff are sympathetic and very caring. Options are made very clear and I even had one of the vets call to make sure both of us were alright. BE WARNED! Make sure you ASK exactly what you're being charged for before you proceed with anything otherwise they WILL NOT consult nor advise you and you will be charged for exorbitant fees. I called to rectify this and they said it was 'mandatory' for a 10 min examination costing $80. This examination consisted of very basic questions that I was unaware that I was being charged for. Completely unsatisfied and what they did illegal under Australian Consumer protection laws. Read Less

We ended here one day when our dog was having trouble breathing and our usual vet turned us away. The staff were fantastic and accommodating. I've since taken my other dog there for a check up and found everyone again understanding and genuine. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Read Less

We can't sing the veterinary nurses and doctors praises high enough for their wonderful care and treatment of our dog Rusty, who had been hit by a car, especially Dr Maureen who went above her duty of care to make sure Rusty was comfortable, to offer cheaper alternatives for dressings due to the many he required, and was always happy to answer any questions we had! We were always made to feel very welcome and they treated Rusty as if he were their own, talking to him, reassuring him and giving him lots of treats!! Absolutely fantastic clinic! The staff are so genuine, and they will do anything to help. I had a very nervous dog who was shaking in the waiting room. And naomi one of the receptionist's took us both into a private room where there was no noise and gave blizzard a few treats to nibble on. He was calm and alot more relaxed in this room. Naomi did not have to do this for us, but she saw how stressed blizzard was and went above and beyond. Took our dog in with a gash in its side it received from another dog attacking it looked like it needed flushing and a few stitches. On the night we where told it would need surgery but would have to wait for a couple days to fit her in quoted $1500 plus $300 for antibiotics pills. Paid $175 for antibiotics and pain killer injections on the night and we left surprised the wound wasn't even flushed. Took the dog to R.S.C.P.A Burwood the next day all checked out and treated . including the antibiotic pills we were charge under $300. Could have saved an additional $175 if we had gone there in the first place. I think we'll deal with the lovely people at R.S.P.C.A in future.Read Less
