The service is great but they do not tell you how much they are going to charge you before they perform the service. For example I asked why do you think my dog is losing hair on the top of his nose, then straight away the vet scraps the hair and skin to check. My dog had an ear infection so I took him to the vet, but did not expect to pay $322 after the consultation, however I must admit the vet was very professional and cared about my dog. I cannot afford to go to see this clinic so I will take my dog elsewhere. They charge $78 for a consultation where as other vets in the eastern suburbs charge between $65 and $70 so definitely worth shopping around. As I am a stay at home mum it’s worth ringing around to inquire the costs. I love my dog but I just cannot afford to go to this clinic next time.

Most professional and friendly vet I have ever been to. Amazing the compassion and care all staff have for patients and owners. One of the few approved by the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) which made the decision easy to take my pug Bruce to Box Hill Vet Clinic. I have been attending this practice for over 25 years and have always been very impressed with the professionalism, care and concern all the vets and ancillary staff have for my pets and also my family. Elaine Ong is the most compassionate person I have met, and her team are also second to none.
Their hours of operation are flexible too, which is great for a working mum like me!
I have had two border collies and two cats under the care of this practice and I have no hesitation recommending them.
The staff have also been caring and empathetic on both occasions I had to put my pets down.
Thanks to all at the clinic and keep up the good work.

I have been attending this practice for over 25 years and have always been very impressed with the professionalism, care and concern all the vets and ancillary staff have for my pets and also my family. Elaine Ong is the most compassionate person I have met, and her team are also second to none.
