Dingley Veterinary Clinic

Dingley Village, Victoria
General Info
In association with Southern Animal Health, Dingley Veterinary Clinic offers all Dingley residents an extended service and access to the most advanced team of medical and surgical veterinarians a general practice has to offer. Between both clinics, we are open 7 days a week and you are entitled to 10% off consultations at SAH when our Dingley Clinic is closed.
Dr Marcus Hayes took over Dingley Veterinary Clinic in 2006 with the aim to introduce Dingley residents to his modern pet health philosophy which questions and reduces the unnecessary retail product push that has become too much the norm for veterinary clinics in recent times.
Our concentration is centred on better health through less products and commercial foods, greater attention to high quality medicine and surgery; and increased hours of operation to avoid our clients needing to attend expensive emergency centres and specialists.
Dingley itself being a unique and small suburb, will never be able to offer such an extensive service on its own; so Dr Hayes has combined the services of the Dingley clinic with that of our larger clinic in Cheltenham – Southern Animal Health.
Although we’re open normal general practice hours, we urge all Dingley pet owners to become familiar with your Southern Animal Health sister clinic at 1251 Nepean Highway Cheltenham.

I just got a phone call from this clinic, asking how Milo was. WOW! Never have we ever had such an attentive clinic. We chose this clinic because our usual one couldn't fit us in for a couple of days when we really needed Milo to see someone, so we called Dingley Vets because we'd heard amazing things about them years ago. Louisa was the best vet we'd ever met, and we left so happy that she gave us a solution we couldn't even find after much Googling beforehand! She understood our concerns and went with it to help us. Today, we got a follow up call from the clinic to see how Milo was going after his visit. That was so cool...BUT, what spun me out the most, and prompted me to jump on my computer to write this review, was that they admitted that they forgot to check his little bum as I briefly mentioned he'd been scooting....they said I was welcome to come in for a no-charge visit if I wanted as they forgot to check this when we were there. WHO OFFERS ANYTHING FOR FREE NOWADAYS?! His scooting wasn't even a related issue to what we initially went there for, and was forgotten about after we left. But Louisa had entered it in Milo's notes and so the lovely vet nurse there called to ask if we wanted to come back in so they could check him out. I said he seems fine, but they extended the offer in case he shows signs of scooting again. They just took the fault on themselves for not checking initially. They are amazing. And this simple phone call, in addition to our visit with them has secured them our business forever, and a glowing review from us and our Milo. Read Less

Thank you Dingley Vet We had to make the awful decision last Saturday & say good buy to our beautiful girl Scooter Our decision was made easier by the wonderful caring staff at Dingley Vets. I would personally like to thank Dr Morag & the nurses for their compassionate care of Scooter who is now at peace. Their compassion didn't stop there! yesterday we received a beautiful card from Dr Morag passing on condolences to our family for our loss, what a lovely gesture. Thank you so much from the HodgettsRead Less
