Our goal is to offer comprehensive veterinary care tor small animals and large animals, ensuring peace of mind for farmers and pet owners alike.
West Gippsland Vet Care began operating as a single vet practice in 1989 and has evolved into a practice consisting of 6 full time veterinarians and 2 part time veterinarians, backed by a dedicated team of veterinary nurses.
In 2006 the Warragul clinic underwent major renovations to become a spacious, purpose built veterinary clinic. In early 2010 our Drouin clinic was relocated to a newly renovated, modern veterinary facility, enabling us to provide a high level of veterinary care to our Drouin clients.
Working from these modern facilities, we hope to continue to live up to our reputation for providing a friendly and welcoming environment for clients and their animals.
Our staff are continually updating their skills and knowledge through seminars and conferences in order to provide the latest techniques and treatments for our patients.

Ben Smith is an excellent surgeon who is recognised by his colleagues Australia wide for his expertise. I have seen him operate on many animals and who confidently recommend him to anyone.

I would like to send a huge thankyou to Simon, Chris, Chris, Tim, Ben, Nursing Staff and all Staff from myself, Greg n of course Fraser for their top notch care over the last 9 days while Fraser was w...
I would like to send a huge thankyou to Simon, Chris, Chris, Tim, Ben, Nursing Staff and all Staff from myself, Greg n of course Fraser for their top notch care over the last 9 days while Fraser was with them after been bitten by a tiger snake on Sat 1st Feb 2015. Thankyou to Simon for his prompt actions, sincerity, kindness and professionalism when we first took Fraser into the clinic if it wasnt for what Simon did n how he did it in those crucial few minutes and through sat night Fraser probably wouldnt be with us today then treatment and care for Fraser continued at the same high level standard from all the vets and staff involved. They all kept me informed updated. I cannot in anyway fault any of them. I have been dealing with this clinic for over 6yrs and would recommend them without hesitation. Again a huge Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for all that you did for Fraser.
