Rose's Vet Practice

Echuca, Victoria
General Info
Rose's dream of starting her own veterinary practice became a reality in 2003. Rose wanted to create a place where both clients and pets feel welcome, staff are friendly and happy and excellent patient care is achieved without a "clinical" hospital feel.
From product knowledge in the reception area, to monitoring your pets anaesthetic in surgery, to intensive hospital care, our fully qualified team ensures you feel confident that you and your pet are being looked after at the highest level.
Meet our team!
Dr Rose Parsons - Vet
Rose studied veterinary science at Murdoch University in Perth. She qualified in 1995 and a few years later Rose completed a 2 year post-graduate diploma in Veterinary Chiropractic. Rose has 2 children together with her partner Peter - Josh 2 and Alex 9 months. They all live in kind of crazy harmony on a few acres out of Echuca along with her 2 dogs - Mishka and Huxley and her 2 cats - Floyd and Ellie.
Dr Kerryn Agnew - Vet
Kerryn studied Veterinary Science at The University of Queensland. Whilst completing her studies she was employed as a vet nurse and worked just outside of Melbourne before joining us here.Kerryn and her Husband Scott enjoy the company of 2 dogs - Jabulani (means happiness in Zulu- a native African language), and Sheba, 2 cats - Suzie and Dennis and a 10 year old Arab gelding called Spock.
Jackie - Senior Nurse
Jackie grew up in Echuca and together with her Husband Paul they have 2 wonderful children - Will her young 5 year old boy and Charli her little girl who is 22 months. Jackie also has twins on the way to keep her on her toes! Jackie has 4 dogs, Codee, Tommy, Max and Martha, 4 cats - Felix, Sparticus, Basil, Captain Knuckles and her horses Anna, Jack and Sparky.
Jes - Nurse
Jes is from a small town called Retford in the middle of England and came to Australia last year for a new adventure! She decided she wanted to become a Vet Nurse in 2007 after she had completed a degree at Liverpool University in Zoology with Evolutionary Psychology. She had her beautiful cat Misty, who was staying with a friend back in England while Jes got settled over in Australia, but sadly last year in October she went missing, and has yet to be found. Jes likes to think she is currently on her own little adventure making her way to Australia.
Clare - Nurse
Surrounded by animals from a young age, she knew she wanted to work with animals so vet nursing was the obvious choice for her. Clare has many pets at home which include a Chihuahua - Pixie, 2 Cornish Rex cats - Monster & Lula, 3 other cats - Angel, Mischief & Little Puss, a magpie called Maggie and a Blue tongue lizard called Lucy (short for Lucifer because of the little devil he is).
Maddie - Junior Nurse
Maddie has been working at Rose’s Vet Practice since March 2013. She works Saturday mornings here and helps out when she can. Maddie has lived in Echuca her whole life surrounded by many animals growing up. Maddie lives on 150 acres and she enjoys the company of sheep, pigs and chickens. She also has a dog called Honey who is a kelpie and a cat called Harvey.
Andrew - General Assistant
Bronte - Resident Cat/Practice Manager
Bronte is our resident cat and the practice manager. She likes to think we are all her servants and slaves. She loves any attention she can get and LOVES food! Bronte has been here from the very start when Rose first opened the practice. Bronte is 14 years old now, so she is a bit slower than she used to be. You'll find Bronte patrolling the practice looking for anyone who will give her attention and treat her like the 'Queen Bee' she thinks she is.
Welcome you to Rose's Veterinary Practice.
