Took my puppy here for vaccinations and was very happy with the care the vets provided. Also attended puppy school, which in hindsight was just expensive puppy socialisation. Didn’t learn anything that can’t be easily accessed online and with no real life demonstrations it was ineffective. The area (reception) the classes are held are also not fit for purpose. Save your time and money!

Incredibly friendly and caring. Was really easy to book and gave us options and pros and cons of each option even though the problem was minor. Took the dog to the Lort Smith two weeks ago who provided the bare minimum of care although charged 30% more than Johnston Street. Will be coming back for a long time

Had to rush my dog there at night with a suspected insect bite, on his lips. The vet was very attentive and took him in immediately, made sure I m aware of what to look out of overnight after giving him his jabs, and I received a follow up call fr the clinic next day to check on him.
For scheduled services I will also get a SMS to remind me of appointments, too.

Everyone at Johnston at vet are so lovely and helpful - Rupert goes running in every time because he loves it so much! They've gone to a lot of trouble to make sure that visiting the vet is a fun, positive experience from when he was just 8 weeks old. They are always amazing at squeezing him in when it's urgent. They always explain the options that are available, and are open with what it will cost - I never feel like procedures and tests are ever done just for the sake of it.

AMAZING CLINIC. if anyone is looking for a Melbourne vet who work with rats I been having the best time with Johnston st Vets. They have a few vets that work with smaller animals, which can be hard to come by. I was so impressed and thankful for their service and expertise. Could not recommend more. They even sent me photos post op to show me how my rat was up and about and having a cuddle. And prices were super reasonable which is so great as a student. Truly wonderful vets and team.

Appointment fitted in at short notice on a Sunday after Bucko took off his bandage himself. Again we had friendly and efficient service. Bucko will definitely be back, but hopefully not too soon.

Great vet that cares about the animals and their owners. First visit and I'm completely sold! Will, the vet was amazingly helfpul, Amy at front desk super friendly and the rescue kitties on the side are adorable! Great vet and great people, Plum loved her visit. Also very reasonably priced :)

Furthermore, they have allowed me to rescue another budgie that I've named 'Matilda', who had been abandoned with an injury. They're a great team at Johnston St!
