I have been taking my dogs to see Joe and his fellow vets for many years now, he took care of my last dog throughout her life (15 years) and her end of life experience with both compassion and professionalism.
Our current two dogs have been to no other vet (10 years old now). Service is always good and advice is always relevant. Knowledge of new treatments and possible side effects have always been provided to me to allow me to make informed decisions about the treatment of my dogs. The staff are always friendly and the treatment rooms are clean and well kept.

I cannot recommend Hopper Crossing Veterinary Clinic highly enough. My two Ridgebacks normally see Dr Joe Covelli who is the most capable Vet I have come across. Very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, he assesses the problem and pragmatically spells out the various options clearly and succinctly. In my experience, he never recommends unnecessary procedures, pathology or medication. If any of these are required, you know up front what the costs are, what the health ramifications (good, bad or otherwise), are for the dogs, and I found I was always able to make an informed decision on next steps for treatment of my two ageing dogs. When he has been away, I have seen other Vets at this practice and they have been just as helpful. The nurses at the front desk are really great too.
I am only in this area for a short time, but I will gladly travel across town to see Joe when I move back to the other side of town. 5 stars unequivocally and not a negative thing to be said about them!

I highly recommend the Hoppers Crossing Veterinary Clinic. I have taken my animals here for the past 15 years both before and after I was married. My husband is also extremely confident that we are with the best there is! Dr Joe and Dr Kristi have been awesome in ensuring we receive the best treatment, care and advice available for any issues we have presented to them. The other Vets I have seen here have also been wonderful, the nurses and staff are fabulous as they really care that both you and your animal are at ease when things go bad. I know many other people from our local Dog Club that also go here and they always have the nicest things to say after their animals have received treatment.
I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Very bad experience with this vet, they are extremely money hungry orientated and their setup policy proves this!
They tried to get my cat vaccinated even though they new it had a very bad heart condition! Their staff are so carried away with booking vaccinations etc.. to build up the business as they are money Hungry, they did not even blink an eye to realize how Dangerous this is, to vaccinate a cat with a very bad heart condition! I had to argue with them and baby them the explanation. I find this unacceptable and disgusting!
My sister recently took her cat for a check up and her experience was also bad. When my sister asked how much is the cost for the extra testing, they tried to imply that she was all about money, trying to make her feel guilty if she did not do the extra tests! For that visit alone my sister had already spent $260 so I think it was with in her right to ask, this does not mean she does not care about her cat!
I can keep on writing more comments about my bad experiences with this vet clinic..and they know what I mean!!!

I use to be a resident in Hoppers Crossing but I now live 45 minutes away and still choose to take my dogs to Joe
My dogs r my family I love them dearly and know when I go to hoppers crossing vet clinic they will be given the best care and treatment possible.
All the staff are warm and friendly and welcome us everytime we r there. They are caring cheerful and extremely professional.

I have been a client of this clinic since it's opening with both cats and dogs. The staff are extremely friendly and thoughtful, especially through times of difficulty. During one of the hardest times in my life, saying goodbye to my darling Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, I found the staff to be a great support. The same when my grandmother had to say goodbye to her cat, the staff were extremely compassionate, offering her a warm drink, biscuits and caring words. I have developed a strong friendship with the staff and they know my pets names and histories even if they are not with me when I visit. An excellent clicnic and fantastic service!

This is where I take my two Alaskan malamutes. I would recommend them to any one. Very friendly and helpful staff, even the resident cat comes and says hello. They welcome all types of breeds. Every time I walk my dogs near the clinic they always want to go in and get treats. Dr Joe and Kristi who are owners of the clinic have been treating animals for years so there is always professional advice at hand.

I have been taking my dogs to see Joe and his fellow vets for many years now, he took care of my last dog throughout her life (15 years) and her end of life experience with both compassion and professionalism.

They tried to get my cat vaccinated even though they new it had a very bad heart condition! Their staff are so carried away with booking vaccinations etc.. to build up the business as they are money Hungry, they did not even blink an eye to realize how Dangerous this is, to vaccinate a cat with a very bad heart condition! I had to argue with them and baby them the explanation. I find this unacceptable and disgusting!
My sister recently took her cat for a check up and her experience was also bad. When my sister asked how much is the cost for the extra testing, they tried to imply that she was all about money, trying to make her feel guilty if she did not do the extra tests! For that visit alone my sister had already spent $260 so I think it was with in her right to ask, this does not mean she does not care about her cat!
I can keep on writing more comments about my bad experiences with this vet clinic..and they know what I mean!!!

My dogs r my family I love them dearly and know when I go to hoppers crossing vet clinic they will be given the best care and treatment possible.
All the staff are warm and friendly and welcome us everytime we r there. They are caring cheerful and extremely professional.

I have been a client of this clinic since it's opening with both cats and dogs. The staff are extremely friendly and thoughtful, especially through times of difficulty. During one of the hardest times in my life, saying goodbye to my darling Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, I found the staff to be a great support. The same when my grandmother had to say goodbye to her cat, the staff were extremely compassionate, offering her a warm drink, biscuits and caring words. I have developed a strong friendship with the staff and they know my pets names and histories even if they are not with me when I visit. An excellent clicnic and fantastic service!

This is where I take my two Alaskan malamutes. I would recommend them to any one. Very friendly and helpful staff, even the resident cat comes and says hello. They welcome all types of breeds. Every time I walk my dogs near the clinic they always want to go in and get treats. Dr Joe and Kristi who are owners of the clinic have been treating animals for years so there is always professional advice at hand.
