Been very happy over many years with team at Ivanhoe Vet. Our 12 y.o. Golden Retriever had mast Cell Carcinoma, detected by Suzanne, 2 years ago. It was not an obvious thing, so forever grateful she was diligent enough to pick it up.After major surgery my Oscar recovered well, and is very healthy. Wow! Wish I'd found Victoria and her team earlier! Took our new puppy Brodie in for first check up - free visit - and had a great unhurried chat/examine with Victoria about all sorts of concerns and questions I had. Then he ha is op for neutering and both the op with Suzanne and follow up with Lauren and Victoria have been amazing. Even had a text from Victoria to check on him on a public holiday! I couldn’t be happier with the care that my cat Bela (and we his owners) have received at Ivanhoe Veterinary Clinic. Everybody there – the vets, nurses and office staff – work excellently as a happy team and are extremely caring, professional and consultative. They understand the difficulties and differing views of owners and try to find solutions that work best for all concerned. They even do a phone follow-up where necessary after a consultation to check if the suggested treatment is going all right. Every staff member is a winner. Their care and understanding of pets and owners and family members. we've been taking our dog there for 12 years and in that time she has had a blend of minor maintenance and serious surgery and at all times we feel that we have had a reliable partner on the journey. the current star is Eric who helped us out yesterday and just showed such wonderful enthusiasm and warmth but even though our dog probably wanted to be anywhere else, she submitted to the treatment that was suddenly necessary. If you are looking for an amazing veterinary clinic where the staff and vets will care about your animals as much as you do then I absolutely recommend Ivanhoe Vet Clinic. The staff here were so supportive of our family when our beautiful Golden Retriever Bronte crossed the rainbow bridge last year at almost 16 years of age. We didn't hesitate to return with our new puppy because we trust Dr Victoria and her teams' expert knowledge and genuine care for the animals they work with. Our animals don't always plan to need a trip to the vet and I appreciate that I can always get an appointment at a time that suits and if there is an emergency they have always been able to accomodate us. Their online booking system is handy too. Recently changed hands it seems. Go here if you want to find out that your dog instantly needs lots of expensive exploratory procedures that will cost you a fortune. Took our dogs for an annual checkup and left feeling like they were on their death bed with upwards of $1000 worth of procedures booked in. Turns out both dogs are actually fine. Thanks. My first time at this clinic with my very old dog looking very crook. The treatment she received was caring ,efficient and effective. Suzanne ,the vet I saw followed up by calling each day for almost a week to see how my dog was going. I greatly appreciated her care and loving professionalism . I highly recommend this clinic . Great staff and Vets. Dr Suzanne and Dr. Victoria are wonderful. Their vet nurses are great with my poodle Miss Lily and she literally drags me into the clinic for her checkups! Recently she was very ill and they couldn't have been kinder or more concerned. Vet nurse Steph, thanks for the phone chats. Dr Victoria is the most dedicated and nurturing vet. She truely cares for every animal. I have a dog that loves to eat chocolate, crayons..basically anything she can get her paws on! I was dog-sitting a fluffy bundle of energy and needed to go to the local vet. Nothing serious luckily.  The small clinic waiting area was what I would call no-frills, does the job but a little too small to spend much time in.
