After having to paying for 2 separate consultations to receive a diagnosis, I was told by keysborough veterinary clinic that my dog will never walk properly again due to a leg injury unless she underw...
After having to paying for 2 separate consultations to receive a diagnosis, I was told by keysborough veterinary clinic that my dog will never walk properly again due to a leg injury unless she underwent a $5000 procedure. Got a second opinion from a vet that was referred to me by a friend and he assured me it was a simple sprained muscle, now my girl is back to her normal self. I find it very disappointing and untrustworthy that a vet would advise for an animal to undergo a risky and costly procedure without being completely certain that it is absolutely necessary. I would advise anyone that finds themselves in a similar situation to make sure they get a second opinion. Unfortunately after many years of taking my pet and my previous pets to the keysborough veterinary clinic, I will never go there again.

The vet here is great. He stayed after hours to deal with our emergency. He communicates well and is very friendly. Thank you for staying back on a Saturday for us.

Slightly expensive but worth it for the great care. Offers many services without a high pressure up sell (claw trims, FIV vaccines, chipping etc.) Was a HUGE help when I adopted my new stray kitten last year and provided me with a care package and information as well as followed up with me regarding appointments for vaccines and boosters.
Gentle and confident with even the most difficult of my cats. Be warned, they will scold you if you have done wrong by your animals health (is:diet etc.) But I love that they really care about the animals in their care.

Thank You, just seems so little to say after the amazing, respectful and total understanding of compassion. Just recently sadly we had to deal with our beautiful ill cat Louie going from a checkup to finding he had advanced cancer. Paige and Mary were angels and gave me so many options and to help me with costs as I'm on a pension. After all said and done Louie sadly passed away and all the time we had time to say goodbye and grieve and never once rushed and after this I felt sadness and total broken in my heart but with the treatment from these guys I feel this sad journey was complete and when looking back I say they are angels and could not speck anything but high regards of their total professional service from as soon as you walk in the surgery.
If looking for a Vet I cannot recommend them enough A+

Dr. Mary at Keysborough vet was fantastic! I came to Keysborough after a very costly and unpleasant experience at another vet clinic. Mary was thorough and knowledgable in her investigation of my cat identifying problems the previous vet had not addressed and ensuring quality care for my fur baby. Teyla is on the mend now and she wants to say sorry for all her cranky bites she knows now that you guys were trying to help her Thank you again Mary and Keysborough Vet we appreciate your attention to care.

The nurses are very thorough with him (l suspect they are bias because he was part of a dumped litter that they adopted, vacinated and sold under cost.
The whole team are very professional every time Dusty and l visit.
Nothing is too much trouble with all the Vets who work there, they are fabulous at explaining things!

After having to paying for 2 separate consultations to receive a diagnosis, I was told by keysborough veterinary clinic that my dog will never walk properly again due to a leg injury unless she underwent a $5000 procedure. Got a second opinion from a vet that was referred to me by a friend and he assured me it was a simple sprained muscle, now my girl is back to her normal self.
