I brought in my cat for a pre planned appointment for a vaccination and the receptionist was nice but then when it was time to see the vet (Essie) was relentless into upselling me the other shot it was a aids shot I believe. I said very nicely the first time I do not want the 2nd shot and she said has my cat had it before and I said yes, then she said well do u want it again and I said again nicely no and then she kept on and on to try sell this 2nd shot and then I said can you please just give my cat the vaccination so we can go please. She then was ready to do the shot and I asked how much will this be? I can't remember the exact figure but I think it was $122 that's when I started to get upset.. I said, I was told the vaccination was $77 she said it is BUT you said you also want the second shot.. I said NO I DID NOT! That's when I said how dare you try trick someone like this ! Just give my cat the vaccination and we want to go. This whole experience made me uncomfortable and I had to almost raise my voice so I could get through to her I just want the vaccine. For the public out there that are scared of confrontation or elderly people I would not recommend this hard selling vet practice due to the upselling pressure. Read Less

An extremely disappointing experience. The vet who was on duty on the Sunday at the Sturt St clinic was incapable of providing any form of diagnosis, quite obviosuly lacked experience and demonstrated no passion or control over the situation.. Only after continual prompting would she seek advice from an off duty vet. She did not provide any care options and it was only after conducting our research and phoning our relative who is a vet that we discovered alternate care options available at the Werribee hospital. Our experience at this clinic which resulted in the loss of our dog was completely disheartening and we will not return. Read Less
